Wait, Gloomweaver's over 10,000 years old... and Zhu Long is older? o.o Did we know this? I mean, I know he's old, but I feel like this is the first time this comparison has been made! Or maybe I just forgot, I'm good at that.

The Gloomweaver and Zhu Long thing was mentioned a couple times in the past, but I wasn't sure until now that it was mispoken or not. Given their histories, I thought Gloomweaver was older, too. The whole "so old he is forgotten by even myth" thing...
Fanatic is a Christmas purist, no doubt. All the stuff we think of as Christmas, that’s all pagan idolatry to her; she’d go around tearing down wreaths and telling carolers to go meditate about the Magi’s journey to Bethlehem and stuff.
I’ve been workshopping ideas for DE in case it ever starts up again, and one of my ideas that’s inspired by this bullpen is that your environment deck should be 30 cards, 15 from a deck that’s the location, and 15 from a deck for the time period. So there’s be a Golden age deck, a Silver Age deck, a Modern deck, a Christmas deck, and of course time travel decks including the Cataclysm.
I bet when Christopher said “silmarils are jewels from the world of …” he had to stop himself from saying “sentinel comics”.
If Zhu Long is older than Gloomweaver, he could have known the name that everyone else forgot Presumably he didn’t know because he doesn’t care. But it would be fun to do a time travel thing, where you can’t find Gloomy-to-be because you don’t know what to look for, so instead you bargain with Zhu Long to find out.
