So, this is a little random, but does anyone here happen to live in or have more than passing familiarity with Corpus Christi?
I have never been inside the place
And I don't know to much of the space
but if you want me to find out
what Corpus Christi's about

Strangely, I actually know where Corpus Christi is. I know nothing more about it, however.
This may or may not be related to the fact that I will be in Dallas for BGGCon in November, if all things go well.
Oh, really? There are potentially going to be a couple of us there, too. No promises, though.
We're working out the logistics but I have a con pass and a bed so far. 
A BGG member set up a "scholarship" for a small number of women who can't afford to go to BGGCon and I applied and got one of the places. Yay!
It would be awesome to meet anyone who's around. 
Is BGGCon sold out? There is some possibility that I would be able to go.
Don't know it well. Drove through about 25 years ago and toured a ship. I have a friend who's from there, but now lives in LA.
Yeah. There's a waiting list for when people inevitably drop out though.
