Challenge Accepted 2: A long dangerous useless trip

The forum has vibrated too long without a PBF game. I did not manage to quite finish the challenge accepted against infinitor but if you guys can forgive me that I'll try my hand at running a game again. I'm gonna leave it to the players to decide wether we play on advanced, challenge or even advanced challenge. So as always first come first served and please vote at the same time the advanced and challenge options. Setup was randomised and I'm all open to seeing the Adamant Sentinels and Best of Time Chrono ranger in action if players want tpo try them out.

Aminia wanted the Freedom Five out of the picture but her own interdimentional powers reminded her that time travelers were a threat to even her best laid out plan, She thus devised a plan to take them out all at the same time. She thus started pulling strings to make believe that Cosmic Omnitron was building up a drone army on mars. Considering the time needed to get there it eliminated the chance of reinforcements coming to their aid...

Votes: Advanced Challenge 1

Heroes:

Tempest (dpt)

Visionary (cmschex)

Omnitron X (Arcanist Lupus)

The Sentinels (grysqrl)

Chrono Ranger (Powerhound 2000)

Villain:

Miss Information (advanced challenge)

Environment:

Wagner Mars Base

As always I'm not picky on the hero.   My choice would be normal Chrono Ranger but I'm willing to go with another if someone is set on playing him.

I'm up for doing challenge if only to increase chances we get clues out quicker.   I'm fine either way on playing it with advanced as well.

Edit:

Opening hand:

"Just Doin' My Job", "Dead or Alive", Bounty Board, Eye on the Prize

I'd be down for Viz or Sentinels

Count me in. I don't care who I play. I'll take whoever's left at the end.

Add me as OX, please! I don’t care about whether we’re doing advanced and/or challenge

I'm in! I'm happy with anyone, but if you need a decision, I'll go for Tempest (as the hero who hadn't been mentioned yet).

Since Powerhound voted for challenge and pretty much everybody said either advanced or don't care I made this game challenge accepted 2. Characters have been attributed by what was expressed and written in the first post getting my decks and switching from my iPad to my computer for ease of posting hopefully I can get this started tonight. You can now draw your starting hands and I wish you best of luck.

The Inhuman Tempest draws Localized Hurricane (x2), Chain Lightning, and Elemental Subwave Inducer as their initial hand.

Sentinels start with Coordinated Assault, Positive Energy (2x), and Unique Capabilities

Omnitron-X could not frown.  But if it could have, its brow would have been deeply furrowed.  "TIMELINE INCONSISTANT. DATA SHOWS OMNITRON II NOT PRESENT AT MARS BASE AT THIS TEMPORAL AXIS."  But Omnitron-X had experienced divergances in the timelines before.  An event that did not happen in the past was still possible in the future.  Omnitron-X armed itself with its best weaponry, and opened a temporal portal to the Mars Base to investigate.

Omnitron-X

HP:  25

Comments:

No damage has been dealt this turn, but loads of destruction have hit the board. Missing ressources still needs to be resolved as a card needs to be revealed from a hero deck to know what keyword is targeted. Threat to the president was the setup Diversion.

If we choose the Sentinels, OX, or Visionary there only two primary types of cards.  CR and Tempest have a decent mix.  No matter what it'll hurt a bit.  Though based on current setup it's not worth putting anything in play.

Diversionary Tactics shuffles the villain trash into the villain deck. So Misplaced Memo x 2, Isolated Hero, and one Missing Resources should be shuffled into the deck.

We could hope to put out enough sacrificial cards to get rid of "Threat" to the President. Localized Hurricane from me would be perfect for that.

I guess it's better to have a character with a mix resolve Missing Resources. I'll go ahead and do it...

I reveal Chain Lightning. Discard all One-Shots. Tempest discards another Chain Lightning.

Leaves me with just "Dead or Alive" in hand which I can use as a sacrificial piece if needed.

Tempest

HP: 26

Hand: Elemental Subwave Inducer, Localized Hurricane, Shielding Winds, Ball Lightning, Into the Stratosphere

In play: Localized Hurricane

Trash: Chain Lightning (x2)

Additional effects: Increase damage to Tempest by 1

Medic-Tank, can you also list the cards in play at the end of the villain turn?

I'll draw, discard and play when i get home thisafternoon

I my mistake with the villain trash and listed villain cards in play. Template might still need some tuning haven't played with it as much as Oaktree, but I'm very open to comments to make it better.

If we can get rid of "Threat" to the President in one round, that would be ideal.  I can play and Ablative Coating, but grysqrl doesn't appear to have any cards in hand.

If we're short one card, then I'll dig for another non-one shot using Timeshift, but otherwise I'm planning on using it to dig through Miss Information's deck for Clues.
