I’ve been tossing songs that remind me of various characters into play lists and I finally have a couple that are full enough to be reasonable CD length. Some of the songs are things that character would listen to, and some are just things where the themes or lyrics seemed appropriate.

I polished the Tachyon list up a bit today and figured I’d post it for anyone who’s interested. Her’s isn’t in any particular order, other than trying to avoid jarring transitions. The first 10 are her listening list, the last six are thematic.

I don’t know if I have whole albums in me for each character, so how about some individual songs for each hero?

This gives me thoughts. Tempted to work on some original tunes for characters. Perhaps a soundtrack a la Flying Frog Games is in the cards.

The only ones I’d disagree with are Absolute Zero and Fanatic. Fanatic almost definitely would only listen to hymns or Gregorian chants, and AZ is likely into the more morose classic rock songs, given his age. You hit the nail on the head with Mr. Fixer though, and HARD. Side note: The first time I told my roomate about Ra he sang that song, so now I can’t see him without hearing it.

Doooo eeeeet! That would be really fun to see happen, but I am not at all musically inclined that way.

Thanks, folks. Starbucks just played “Bad Romance,” and I found it impossible to hate. Just imagined Ra dancing a la Lady Gaga, and my day took a fabulous upswing.

Wasn’t it recently mentioned that Hakka was an ABBA fan? That seems like good info to have for this project.

Oh yeah! There’s a partially finished Haka list and a mostly finished Bunker list, but I just started my nice new job today. I have actual work to do during the days now, so it might be a little bit. I’m ok with that though, since it means we now have an actual income!
