Also, given that MigrantP probably didn’t just pore over that particular log just for funsies, it probably means we were on the right track and a theory that seemed to be disproved by her log is actually correct.
One more unlock log.
Legacy, cosmic, AA and Ra vs. Chokepoint on Mars
The only power AA ever used was vocalize to activate Scherzo of Frost and Flame. I did make him draw a couple cards via Silver Shadow activating another song.
So I've got an unlock to burn, do we have any idea what I should or should not use it to determine?
Can't give a log though, sorry :(
I also have at least two unlocks available.
One of which could have a log.
I would try using Extreme AA and have him build up over the course of a few games trying damaging multiple different targers with his base power and doing nothing else. For example game 1 only damaging 1 target, game 2 damaging 2 targets. etc. and see if you get to a point where you get the unlock. I am guessing the magic number is going to be 5 targets.
Then try the same thing only damaging 1 or 2 targets, but doing 5, 10, 15 20 damage over subsequent games. that way we can see if it is total damage or multiple targets.
Steam post #40 has AA only damaging Akash'Bhuta over the course of the match (for a total of over 50 damage), so it's not number of targets.
So does this mean we're back to nailing down a certain amount of damage. Or is there a "cannot do this" in place as well. Summary so far:
- Villain/environment are irrelevant
- AA needs to deal a lot of damage, either by his own doing or forced by other cards.
- Minimum damage in one turn seems irrelevant. From MindWanderer:
rj917 maxed out at 5 damage in one turn. I did as little as zero damage in one round.
- Number of targets hit is irrelevant. From Bolnerap:
Steam post #40 has AA only damaging Akash'Bhuta over the course of the match (for a total of over 50 damage), so it's not number of targets.
- Number of targets destroyed is irrelevant. From Bolnerap:
AA did not use powers, did not play cards, and did not destroy any targets.
- It doesn't matter if AA is incapacitated or other heroes are incapacitated. From Bolnerap:
AA was incapacitated at the end of the battle.
From Reverend Pete:
Legacy was Incapped in my unlock.
- AA can target other heroes. From Tskami ek:
The Argent Adept can target other heroes with song effects: https://pastebin.com/5Ripp7Ux
It is possible to get the unlock if another hero is incapped: https://pastebin.com/4amUzhsN
- Powers and cards used by AA seems irrelevant. From Tskame ek up above and from MindWanderer:
It's neither of those. I remember going over a successful unlock on Steam that used some very impressive chains of Inspiring Supertonic and Alacratous Subdominant to play a whole lot of instruments all in one round.
- No unlocks from losing a game by having all heroes incapacitated. (untested, losing by environment or villain sudden death)
Please correct any mistakes or add any assumptions I'm missing. Thanks.

(Ignore those last 2 lines on my last comment. Copy/paste error and I can't seem to edit it after the fact)
No unlock.
Legacy, Ra:Horus of Two Horizons, Dark Visionary, Xtreme Prime Wardens Argent Adept and Rook City Wraith vs. Ambuscade on Mobile Defense Platform.
XPW AA did nothing but deal damage using Ra, Legacy and Visionary to boost his damage. AA did use Synopated Onslaught on himself to increase his own damage one round. (and only himself) He also played Polyphoric Flare, Xu's Bell Arcane Cadence and Silver Shadow to get more damage out. I did well over 20 points to villain targets and then I had AA destroy Propulsion Systems to take the sudden death route. No unlock.
On a side note, Wrest the Mind and Flesh of the Sun God is a good combo against a Sonic Mine.
I can’t check logs right now, but I had an idea that explains several of the games I know of: what if it’s “AA can go no more than one full round without dealing damage?”
@MindWanderer: In my (non-bugged) success I only had two rounds of Argent doing damage in a many-round game. One stray turn of Onslaught's Accompany and the turn I hit him with Blackout.
How long until we consider it isn't something AA has to do, but perhapse something other heroes/villains have to do?
As it turns out, I have an unlock to burn if necessary. My wife got her iPad up to date and has season 1.
Maybe we should start testing if Argent does in fact need to do damage and if so, how much. Start tiny, work up.
My first failure had him do 12. I'll see what kind of shenanigans I can pull off later today.
At the very least this unlock process is reminding me of the combos AA has that result in damage...
Here's a failed unlock with exactly one point of damage.
Well, I have my second unlock, but I'm not sure if it tells us anything.
Since my wife doesn't have any season 2 content, I did Legacy / Ra / Chrono-Ranger / Omnitron-X / Argent Adept in Insula Primalis vs. Advanced Plague Rat. Once again, it was a damage-fest. Once again, it ended in two rounds. This time, AA did a total of 20 damage:
5 to himself from Infection in round 1 (1 + Imbued Fire + Galvanize + Advanced rule for Infection + Plague Locus)
10 to Plague Rat in round 1 from Scherzo (same modifiers)
AA was down to 2 HP after PR's second turn. I played Heroic Interception so he wouldn't kill himself from Infection, but now I'm kicking myself that I did that, because it would have made great testing material! Oh well.
Then, PR was down to 5 HP on AA's second turn. Infection whiffed because of Heroic Interception, and PR went down from the first hit from Scherzo. (Same modifiers as before).
AA did exactly 20 damage in 2 turns (15 to Plague Rat and 5 to himself, all Fire because of Imbued Fire), and I got the unlock.
That is actually great data. Now we know that, ‘damage a minimum number of different targets’ is probably not part of the requirements.
Question: Has anyone got thr unlock without damaging a hero target?
We already knew that, from a log on Steam which bolnerap described above. There was an unlock in which AA only did damage to Akash’bhuta directly.
