Just a general note for people not on Discord that we’ve finally gotten around to updating the wiki to include the released DE content.
A useful example page is The Harpy. It has Definitive Edition hero character cards for The Harpy, the content of the hero deck, the Villain Character cards, Event cards, and Villain deck content for The Matriarch. New Heroes/Villains/Environments have also been added to the associated list pages.
I haven’t removed EE content, but as the Definitive Edition is the version of the game that’s in print I’ve had things shuffle DE content to the forefront when it exists. Both the core box and Rook City Renegades content has been included.
I continue to wish Lynkfox would both finally update the wiki software and find someone to replace me on doing the backend work like I said he should when I left, because it still hurts my soul how ugly and difficult to update the current layout is but I never got the chance to overhaul it.
Yeah, I finally took the time to kludge my way through updating templates and whatnot to get the extra tabs to show up when appropriate and then formatting the actual card content. So, I’m falling farther behind on podcasts again, but at least this part of the long-thought-about updating process is there.
Yeah, this is why I wish we could find another programmer to step up.
Lynkfox did the existing character layout to begin with, and I struggled with overhauling it because I’m not a programmer by nature and it’s really complex. The Podcasts section and other stuff like the Cover Gallery was easier for me to do because that original layout I could just toss out entirely and rebuild from scratch.
But the character layout I think the wiki really needs to finally update to Lua to pull it off to get it really looking good, though this at least gets the info on there in some fashion.
