Are there really 397 copies of the Spirit Island playmat in stock? (Noticed on BGG)
Also, the store is really not working at all well for me. It may be just my browser, but when I mouseover an item it gets covered by a big black box. I can click on it to see details, but the black box is really annoying. I also can't find any of the SotM expansions--are they all sold out?
@dpt
Yes! We just got more Spirit Island playmats in stock!
I'm not sure why you are having the black box problem.
The SotM expansions are all there. They will show up if you search for "sentinels of the multiverse", but we are working on making that easier to navigate.
I get the same black box as dpt. Maybe it's supposed to be a small button that says "Quick View", but the button covers the entire picture. It's not pleasant.
Regarding the Black Box problem...
It's supposed to look like the attached image. If it's not, can you please PM me with your browser/version/win or mac and any extensions you have that may be affecting the layout or display (including ad blockers or color-changers, etc)
Thanks!
Your screenshot shows the "ugly black box" I was talking about. It makes it really hard to scroll through and find things.
Agreed. It totally obscures the thing that you're trying to look at. I find it very jarring to have the black box flipping between items as you scroll through.
Given that Quick View adds almost no information beyond what you can already see (available quantity information and maybe another picture?), I would probably turn it off entirely and make it so that if you click on the picture, it takes you to the page for that product (which I actually find it difficult to get to).
Another feature request/issue with the new store.
Placed an order last week. When I check the status in the store, it's listed as "Delivered". Used USPS First Class shipping. However, I've not received the item.
So, either there's a tracking number that should be exposed to the end user that I should be able to follow, or the store is presumptuous about the delivery status, and that's a bug. :)
In addition, rather than relying on subscription notices from FedEx or any other service, it'd be really nice if the store provided a "Your item has shipped" email and, if a shipping number is available with the order, provide it with it. All things considered, this is a very basic feature in pretty much every Point of Sale workflow. I dunno why you guys don't have it, but you should.
@bobbertoriley
Our previous web store did not have the ability to send out tracking info, since it could not be connected directly to shipping software. Our new web store has that ability, but it is very complicated to set up, and we are going to be working through all of the bugs first before we try to add new features. However, that is a long term goal!
Cool.
Should I reach out to the usual paul@ about the missing order? :)
Yes, for now.
Soon, all of the problems with contact@ should be resolved - we are hooking it into a customer service software solution to help manage tickets and requests, which should eliminate the dropped email problem we've had for quite a while.
So I’m trying to submit an order and after clicking to place order I have this message come up(I’ve tried from my desktop and iPad getting the same message):
The following errors have occurred
(14) The referrer, relay response or receipt URL is invalid
@Powerhound_2000
Could you email me a screenshot of the error to paul@greaterthangames.com?
Thanks!
Done
I’m getting the same thing as Powerhound. Assuming you don’t need multiple screenshots, as it’s literally just:
The following errors have occurred.
(14) The referrer, relay response or receipt link URL is invalid.Possibly of greater relevance is the fact that “Authorize.Net SIM” is the only payment option.
Yeah that happened to me as well I assumed somewhere along the line it would ask for more information on payment.
This should be fixed!
Let me know if you have any further issues, and thanks for the bug report!
Yep, thanks! Absorbing the contents of my new PDF now!
One of these days, I'll find free time and get to my local FLGS and grab this.
BTW, in addition to the fairly large number of typos in the books themselves, the Prime Wardens issue has the wrong filename. It should be Prime Wardens #67, but it's #86 instead.
