Disparation: Radio Silence Breaks!

Thanks to Slimey Boi on the Handelabra discord for sharing this positive yet slightly ominous (in that Christopher isn’t the one delivering it) news!

I have to imagine Christopher is either getting some much-needed sleep or – more likely – painstakingly (and darkstrifingly) making sure every order is assembled and shipped to exacting standards.

I hope one of those is the reason for his not writing this update. His absence certainly bodes—I can only hope it’s for good, not ill.

I, for one, could do with far less boding these days. :B

And all he reads oppresses him, fills him with indignation at man’s murderous ways toward man. He broods… and broods… and broods-and finally from so much brooding his brains dry up. He lays down the melancholy burden of sanity and conceives the strangest project ever imagined… to become a knight-errant and sally forth into the world to right all wrongs. No longer shall he be plain Alonso Quijana… but a dauntless knight known as Don Quixote de La Mancha !!!

Is that what Christopher is / will be doing if FRG sacks him?

Really need to be careful about doomscrolling or you’ll wind up tilting at windmills for sure. Amazing how rapidly this year has gone downhill so far.

I note that this Harry person had nothing to say about the RPG kickstarter, which hasn’t gotten even a token update yet this year. Christopher’s absence is even more ominous given that fact, although I suppose being a packing slave is the most reasonable explanation.

Less boding? I don’t know, even fifty+ years after his death I still enjoy revisiting Cheech Wizard and company now and then. Soothing childhood memories.

Shame Vaughn didn’t live long enough to see the Devil’s Lettuce get legalized.

For the record, I attempted to order some product earlier this year, and Harry Joslin was the name on all the emails as they attempted unsuccessfully to ship it to me despite various problems on my end. So he clearly is a Flat River employee who’s doing some, or perhaps all, of their warehouse work.

Christopher is probably a better sword fighter than Alonso Quijano, I wonder who he would pick as his squire? Adam, Matt, Paul, Trevor, Anthony, Walking Target, Cult of Gloom?

I did Cervante’s monologue/establishing narrative in Advance Drama, so the word brood triggers core memories.

We didn’t say brood, we said bode!
