It's hard to tell if the number is a 1 or a 7.

7, but I agree that the font makes it very hard to tell. I use the sentinels sidekick app to track hp and it confirms it as 7.
Yeah, I see it as a seven as well, but I can see why at a glance it does look a bit like a one. But you can compare it to other cards which do have a one, or something which has both numbers together (eg the Portal Fiend from the Realm of Discord, which has 17hp).
