I will note I suspect despite saying no episode on 12/31 I suspect we still might get a minisode like they've done before.

A couple serious laugh-out-loud moments here. I loved Christopher cracking up over the idea of him Adam doing the fusion dance. :D Also appreciated the extra info about Count Barzakh. They're right that that was a really good episode! (And he so could have a deck!)

I could easily see a Count Barzakh deck as something similar to Chokepoint's, where each time you strike him, he steals the top card from your deck, coupled with the additional rider that if any hero deck empties, that hero is automatically incapacitated.

His cards would then center on either peeling more cards away from hero decks (representing him stealing a hero's power and vitality) or expanding that power, dealing damage to a hero or destroying hero cards based on how much he's already stolen (utilizing that stolen power).

It'd make playing a "nova" character like Tachyon or Bunker much more risky, but potentially rewarding-- they run the risk of being incapped more easily, but would have less cards stolen-- while also making 'ping' heroes like Chrono Ranger or Harpy fight a battle of attrition... neat tactical level choices, either way.

It took a lot of restraint, but I actually finally have nothing to say about this episode except that it was delightful, one of my favorites. The digressions with C&A discussing Taco Bell and being in their own universe and so forth…chef’s kiss. So much delight, and only moderate temptation for me to write some giant wall of text where I quibble with them from six years ago about like two words they said “wrong”.
