Oh, of course it’s a long one today. XD I got deadlines, guys!

Ooh, I’m quite excited about episode 324. I guess it’s no surprise it got voted in already! Also, yay for more Wipeout!

Yeah, having hope about anything again is so important right now, and in very short supply. Hope that isn’t too much to pin on a board game company.

Oh my god, this kid. XD Looking forward to the Letters Page on CD now.

Wait, I’m sorry, Nicholas is four? D: How did that happen?

Citizen Dawn, of course, absolutely known for announcing how many issues her plans will take at the start of them.

Several people are always typing, lol

Ah, the hubris of man! Surely an excellent power to have!

So they’re saying Scholar is going to appear in the third Writer’s Room next month, right?

Oh cool, I’d always wondered about the origin of the Barzahk Wing’s name.

I kind of have to listen to everything at 1.5x speed these days, I think I broke my brain somehow lol

Okay, I wondered what the hell Christopher was doing with the booth number over at PGP! XD (It’s BHEF in letters, fyi.)

I can only imagine what they are miming out right now.

I think I found that Miles Morales video! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HX1lmIAF8I4

The bit about Voss just being trapped in corporate hell is top-tier.

Cueball’s a Guise villain, don’t tell me he has standards!

Let’s hear it for being bad at personal interactions! XD

Tyler Vance has i-frames, canon.

El Todito should be a Haka variant. :joy:

Friction and Razoracer, I am here for that! (And so glad to know his name is one word finally!)

Honestly, the harder jello is, the more I like it, so…

oh no, rat beast nuggets are a thing now

Superb f-bomb timing there.

So what they’re saying is Sk8blayd had the fan reaction they were expecting.

Please, never make them say “Baul Barsons” again XD

The character swap question was the most interesting one, for my money.

Someone from chat please explain the secret screen!

Anyway, Deltarune tomorrow. :eyes: Bye!

Ah, Bonnie Age Seven, I feel your pain. I love the banter/blabber, but we could really use some timestamps for skipping then when not in the mood for off-topic digressions. Maybe if we build more data centers, the AI can give us those timestamps.

“We’re real dumb!” --Christopher 2026

In addition to a good story of Dawn and AF Legacy, there’s definitely a cool story about Dawn being murdered by Iron Legacy. He’d be real tired at the end, and it’d make a lot of sense if some skulky mean assassin type villain (or a hero like Expat) would attack him while he’s that worn out.

Apt that Adam the fire warlock and Christopher the techno-angel hammerdin would invent Akash’Bhuta, a villainous Mother Nature.

These are some wild topics, y’all.

So much for “Wipeout’s never heard of again after the '90s.”

They already did a whole other episode about new scions, now they’re making a demon one. It’s almost like they might be planning to incorporate them into some kind of game or something someday.

Bit disappointed that we’ve got no Creative Processes this month.

I love the Vertex universe as a bag of chips served with your sandwich, and then the chips get crushed into crumbs and that’s Prime War. Especially since there are definitely people who would then throw the bag of chips away, even though they’re still perfectly edible. The only flaw in all of this is that the sandwich bag is around the chips somehow, but fleek it, close enough.

The story of Benchmark vs Ray Mantae is way more interesting told from Ray’s perspective, since Benchmark is known to be Randall Butler and a Revocorp employee, while most people don’t know either that Ray Manta is Raymond Mantae or that Raymond Mantae works for Revocorp. He’d never give that info away, so it’s a far better story of Ray effortlessly defeating all of Benchy’s tech while we’re hearing Ray’s thoughts as he describes all the technobabble behind both their power suits. We could even use Visionary to justify how we’re seeing Ray’s point of view. Somebody should definitely suggest this topic.

I always thought Benchmark was just a fixed Bunker, but it sounds like he actually started out as maybe being Revenant as a hero, or what would have been that if not for Kismet partially taking Revenant’s place in the storyline.

I now want fanart of Benchmark driving the Herkimer Battle Jetty.

The thing about codes and silver ages makes me think of the third and final Sentinels RPG live session, with the villain who became UltraViolent (though I still liked him better as “Doom Armor” guy…yes the Tick did it first but I still would have preferred it).

Matt Kroll, the Human Radiation Shield. Suspiciously resembles Hourly Rage.

Apparently “all the realities are wonky now”. There’s your massive lore drop!

The RazZone - it’s d’etre-mental!

None of the voting topics for July came across as one so it was destined to be a full month of writers room no matter what got picked.

Wait, one of the GTG SCRPG campaigns had an Ultraviolent? Ah man, I had come up with that name and used it for a villain in my own game. I suppose it was too obvious / good for me to be the first to have thought of it.

Session 3 or 4 I think of the 2020 sextet.

Anyway, not done with the episode, and what an amazing set of hypotheticals to end on. Obviously I’m not one of the creators, but my answer to the character you sell is Parse, because she’s on of the least obvious expies of a Marvel or DC characters among the Sentinels lore, and none of the stuff she does would be impossible to reassign to someone else.

Been a while since they straight up cracked me up, but “here’s the thing” got me

Man, I would rather have Martian Manhunter go into Marvel, rather than Marvel inventing The Sentry!

I wonder if the Secret Lads gave Adam that Secret Screen to go with his chair…

Very stupid joke I thought of during the ep: Cueball says “I have standards on who I fight!” and Benchy legitimately has to stop himself from saying “The New Standards? Eh?”
