I've finally had to accept reality - there are just too many cards in this game for me to store them all in my cutesey custom card boxes. The amount of room they took up was acceptible before given how much I loved the boxes, but it's been reaching the straining point for a while, and now it's broken through. So this weekend I got a 4-lane white baseball card box and all the cards in the game fit nicely in there stored vertically, separated by the custom vertical dividers jagarciao and tracerbullet have created, which I've got hosted on my site. They actually only take up three of the lanes so I can fit some tokens and oversized cards in that third lane, at least until the final expansion comes out. No idea how many/what types of cards will be coming in that.
I'll still keep posting templates for card boxes (when I get the art) for people who still use them, and I still think they're the bee's knees, but now I have a box full of unused boxes in my den. It's a fitting meta-tribute to a bygone era when decks had boxes and the living was easy. (sob)
For quite awhile when i first switch ti vertical storsge, i still used your tuckboxes. I appreciate the work you have done. I have your terrian for tactics printed, and use your simplified hp trackers for sentinels now. I like the concept for the card sized hp trackers, but some of the color choices didnt worj for my bad eyes. Tell tracerbullet i am thankful for the new vertical dividers. Any chance he might do vertical dividers fof the promo characters? I get replacement decks for the promos so i can crazy things like the all legacy battle (america greatest legacy, young legacy and legacy vs iron legacy). Thanks for the work done, and i look foward to the terrain for. Broken city in time.
What I've been using for dividers is HikariStarshine's Vertical Dividers (he's on BoardgameGeek): https://boardgamegeek.com/article/18489341#18489341
They were made with Printer Studio in mind. Print on Tarot sized cards, then cut off black portion on the bottom of each. Works really well for those white BCW boxes.
He even has dividersfor the promos I believe. He also has dividers for all the Cauldron fan-expansion content, but I haven't really looked into that stuff, and probably wont till after the final SotM expansion anyways.
I'm not giving in yet, I still have everything in your boxes and hope you get the Villains art too so I can update my set to complete. It is in 3 SotM boxes to fit everything but I don't travel with the game much so it doesn't bother me
Those look great. That's the one thing I missed most going from the horizontal dividers provided with the game to home-printed one, is having the dividers be on nice thick cardstock. Using Printer Studio would fix that nicely.
For those of you that are crazy like me and keep them in dragon shield sleeves (or other thick sleeves), I have boxes to hold your decks. I have them hosted here for the moment https://boardgamegeek.com/images/user/1051432/inkomo . I am currently working on the rest of them, getting clean images of the hero/villain/environment names is what takes the longest. Also images for the hero/environment boxes are taking longer as http://sentinelsofthemultiverse.com/multiverse is not up to date with the current releases (I completely understand for this to be a very low priority). I have templates set up so that once I have what I need, I can complete them fast. I do have a credits listed for anything that is not my original work, so please keep the pdf files as they are if you redistribute them so the original effort done by other people is still acknowledged.
I have been using 3 boxes that gtg has given, they are all unsleeved only because I haven't gotten around to doing it but will probably use penny sleeves due to money.
really would like for them to come out with a big box with next expansion
