Ep 34 of The Letters Page! Discussion - Stunningly Handsome Ansel G. Moreau podcast

You can skip the first 40 minutes as all they talk about is his fabulously handsome chin, they move on to his roman nose after that and start describing his delectable ears 101 minutes in. Part 2 next week should get on to his classically sculpted physique.

Prepare your ears for fantatic listening pleaseure and go here for today's episode.

You might be scarred from the experience though.

AHHHH!

I got my question on the podcast!

Awesome!

They separated my letter for some reason and skipped over some I submitted though those skipped parts make sense for the most part.

I am sad they did not ask my question, not because it was a good question but because I signed it Moreaustickman.

This was a good episode, I don't think I learned anything multiverse shattering from it but it was the most fun I've heard in a while.

I enjoyed then going blow for blow on the MAinstay/Stuntman team up for 20 minutes. So pointless but lots of fun. They are such Fan boys.

That was a great episode. I'm pretty sure I was laughing through the whole thing, and Mainstay being Ansel's biggest fan and the whole road warriors thing was so awesome. XD

Road Warriors was amazing, I would have never expected any of that.

Also John Hunt, The Hunter, and Night Hunter... So much cheese I had to share it, and get dirty looks from everyone who assumed those were my jokes and not someone elses.

Though, now I do need to ask, why did Ansel need to die? The Chrono-Ranger episode made it sound like he showed up before the trap was sprung and stopped Ambuscade from killing a hero. This episode makes it sound like Chrono-Ranger showed up after Ambuscade's trap was defeated by Tachyon... so what would have happened had Chrono-Ranger not interfered?

I'm defintely submitting a question about this

This was a fun episode, I hadn't even expected that. :D I usually write Ambuscade off because he's such an easy villain, but there's really a lot to enjoy about his character.

I remember in the Chrono Ranger episode, Ambuscade had a dead-man switch. Maybe it was less about Ambuscade and more about the Wagner Mars base? Preventing the rest of his bombs from taking it out completely?

Or maybe it wasn't about that event at all, but that was when Ambuscade could have been killed without anyone knowing. Like, perhaps he was "fated" to succeed in killing a hero who would've been needed to prevent the dark future, and what better time to eliminate him than when everyone already thought he was dead?

Ambuscade is one of those characters who's both such a jerk but also such a hilarious dork that you can't help but love him anyway.

Plus, I mean, he is pretty cute. Not going to dispute that.

Not so much after the OblivAeon event.  Pretty cruel on the writer's part for Tactics and RPG for once.

Yeah, guess someone else will have to take up the mantle of "Best Looking Guy in the Sentinelsverse" now…

Interesting though that this is one of the few cases of the Tactics and RPG end results splitting based on a character's choice rather than the time shenanigans.

Let's face it: that's probably Benchmark.

Who is also an actor as it turns out.

Apparently if you're a good-looking guy in the Sentinelsverse you're destined to be a performer of some kind.

He's the new standard!

[redacted] reply

I'm not liking the anti-leporid attitudes in this episode...

I'm a little disappointed nobody asked about the time Haka defeated Ambuscade without even knowing there was a fight going on. That's a story I really wanted the details on.

I actually think the profane zealot is the best looking person in the SotM universe
