This episode really reinforces what I said last time about preferring writer's rooms to create-a-thing live. They're doing a writer's room, but still creating things live. We get to see how they work together, we get to experience new stuff, but it's ultimately a lot more structured by the end.

I love how the descriptions of the monster Medico gets to fight were all just kind of SCP-682. :D

Oh darn, thought Miranda, as the identical septuplets entered the ring, seven slight and wiry androgynous humanoids, their incarnadine skin vaguely reminiscent of powered Thorathians, but without the bone spurs or glowing eyes. Dressed in identical orange and blue jumpsuits, they differed from one another only in having a circular symbol on the uniform between the vague swells of their chest, resembling an old-timey clock with one hand and only eight hour marks, each one at a different position other than straight down. I was hoping the announcer would tell me what their gimmick was. Guess I’ll have to work it out for myself. No worries, though, I got this. I’m not a kid anymore; if there were space elections I’d be old enough to vote in one!
