I would absolutely buy a “Sentinels of the Night” set of variants…
It’s wrong for a Fanatic story, but if you wanted Mark Benedetto to be haunted by the ghost of his audio technician who let him rant while his Mike was live, then I would make it a science fiction “ghost” where he uploaded his brain to a computer, and then it’d be Kim Howell, still employed at RevoCorp and not yet well known publicly as Parse, who he’d go to and try to blackmail her into helping him.

It’s ridiculous, but I love picturing the Lincoln Continental scene with Fanatic lurking in the church rafters like a vampire or gargoyle. She’s out of armor, “relaxing” by her standards, wearing like a disheveled nightgown that hangs off her body like a hair shirt, showing some skin and feminine shape but in a totally unsexy “just wandered in from the desert” way, and so she’s been sleeping on a crossbeam twenty feet off the ground, and this guy comes in and she like wakes up, one eye first, and swoops from one beam to another, and when he calls her “a fanatic”, she comes down and does a superhero slash horror monster landing right behind him.

The cover can sorta happen in Final Christmas World, with the spectre just being a figure in a background, maybe a discarded Halloween decoration with some tinsel thrown away atop it or something. She maybe ports in right in front of it, starts to blast radiance at a scary thing she sees, but then powers back off when she realizes it’s just a chintzy hologram thing.
