All I'll say is I'm glad Leviathan's infertility came up during the questions because my mind started going places.
If it hadn't come up with Zapdragon's questions it was one that I had asked.
Today, we discovered, Leviathan is a jerk.
For what it's worth, just my opinion, in a writer's room, I'd rather hear a complete story than a single issue. If you do a single issue that is a complete stand-alone story, that's great. If you tell us about a six-issue arc, that's great too. I don't care how many issues it technically covers or how in-depth page-by-page you get; I enjoy it either way as long as it's a good piece of storytelling.
Yeah, it's really cool that they went all the way with this one. :D
I like that the names Z’ver and Com’Torr both evoke a considerable phonic similarity to Christopher. Z’ver in particular is closer to C than to any other Terrestrially common name I can think of. And it’s a character that specifically doesn’t want a bunch of humans calling him by a name that’s better for them because it’s not all alien sounding.
True Tide isn’t a good name. If not being on the nose with Black Tide, then definitely something more like Rising Tide.
C&A didn’t comment on it, but I really tremendously enjoyed how Zapdragon’s letter just slid in that comment about a Maerynian going “dry” with fear, where a human would have gone cold.
Adam may not do much writing, but clearly he knows how to write Ray Manta. That bit was pure gold.
“the shark is more dorky than cool” - oh no, it’s Progeny’s head all over again!
