For some reason I have a desperate need to envision Blood Countess drinking a hero and having it go really badly for her in a slapstick way.
- Fanatic has, for the first time, been beaten into submission so thoroughly that it seems impossible she could summon a single flicker of radiant flame. Nonetheless, when Liz tries to take a mouthful, it immediately ignites in her mouth and she acts like she just ate a bag of ghost peppers as though they were Cheetos.
- it’s been said before that Tachyon’s powers are incredibly dangerous to anyone including herself, and that her intelligence is what enables her to keep a degree of power so she doesn’t just die. Having stolen power from Tachyon, Liz instantly batters herself to a skinless pulp sack with dozens of broken bones, probably taking out several load bearing walls and collapsing an entire wing of the cathedral.
- Guise doesn’t even have blood, but he is a dummy, and Liz is very manipulative. I can see her talking him into making some of himself into a separate pool of purple fluid that can be separated from him, and she attempts to digest this in hope of gaining his power. Luckily for her, this fails completely; it’s still Guise’s power, and he bends the reality of her to make her think she shapeshifts a little, and then just melts into an angry burgundy puddle for a couple of hours, before reforming herself and ordering her subordinates never to mention this incident again.
