Parse discards Updated Intel.
Parse
HP: 8
Hand: Recompile, Critical Multiplier, Reveal the Flaws, Data-Mining, Buffer Overflow
In play: Extrasensory Awareness, Updated Intel
[hr]
Start of hero turn:
Play a card: Critical Multiplier
Use a power: Extrasensory Awareness. Reveal the top 3 cards of the villain deck, discard 1 of them, keep the other two.
Draw a card: Quick Calculation
End of hero turn:
[hr]
HP: 8
Hand: Recompile, Reveal the Flaws, Data-Mining, Buffer Overflow, Quick Calculation
In play: Extrasensory Awareness, Updated Intel, Critical Multiplier
Trash: Impossible Shot, Exploit Vulnerability, Targeting Arrow, Syntactic Analysis, Recompile, Data-Mining, Updated Intel
Additional effects: Whenever a villain card enters play, you may look at the bottom card of a deck, then put it on the top or bottom of that deck.
Whenever you discard a card from hand, select a Hero target. Increase the next damage dealt by that target by 1.
Fanatic discards Aegis of Resurrection
OK. I'll take out top card of villain deck and Environment deck for previous Fumbling Fool:
Portal Fiend (environment) and Channel The Eclipse (villain) are discarded
For Fumbling Fool played this turn:
Positive Energy Field (environment) and Luminous Leadership (villain) are discarded
---
Parse's ESP reveals the following three cards:
Citizen Tears, Citizen Sweat, and Citizen Truth
Environment - The Realm of Discord
In Play: Explosive Bubble (1)
Start: (none)
Play: Ethereal Bonds (9)
End: Bubble zaps Citizen Dawn [33] for 2 energy damage.
Ethereal Bonds zap Setback for 2 energy damage. They cannot deal damage.
Effects:
- At the end of the Environment turn, the Explosive Bubbles deal 2 energy damage to the X non-environment cards with the highest HP, where X = the HP of the Explosive Bubbles.
- At the end of the Environment turn, the Ethereal Bonds deal the hero target with the highest HP 2 Energy damage. A target dealt damage this way cannot deal damage until the start of the next environment turn.
So long as it's not Truth we got this wrapped up
EDIT: Ah nooooooooooo! one of the two damage dealers just got prevented from dealing damage. Crap.
Double EDIT: If I take it I can't redirect the battery damage, up to you Setback
I also noted that if Omnitron-X had healed heroes differently so that it was tied for high HP it could have taken and ignored the Ethereal Bonds attack due to the current plating card. The environment has been consistently tossing curveballs at the heroes this game.
I will take the Ethereal Bonds damage so that Tachyon can deal damage this turn (and so I don’t kill myself off).
Thanks for the assist, MM!
There's unfortunately another issue: I'm forced to discard one of the Citizens, which will then make Dawn flip. Arr...
Discard Sweat, put Tears then Truth on top of the villain deck.
Urg, the hits just keep on a comin' … On the plus side we're at 5 citizens at the end of the turn, so long as we don't kill any of them she'll flip back next turn (unless Parse shuffles the villain deck as a result of her power). Nope, no plus side, I'm remebering the old verion
Non-advanced she would have just flipped back right away. With advanced the requirement is 6 Citizens. Thus the difficulty of the decision on which citizen to discard and what order to put the other two in. Especially with the synergy damage from Blood already being out and then possibly bringing both Sweat and Tears into play. Truth, at least, is not going to inflict more damage.
Order of the two kept doesn't matter that much either. Dawn's flipped side plays an extra villain card every turn - so both of the "kept" citizens are coming into play in any case.
I was thinking of getting rid of Truth when my next turn comes around.
New Intel for initial villain play is Blinding Blast - top or bottom of deck?
And Tachyon is due to get hit for 4 energy by Assault. Given the way the turn is forming up it can be redirected to Citizen Truth, Ethereal Bonds, or the Explosive Bubble. Or she can take the hit and keep the ongoing in play.
