Episode 31 - Dawn of Discord

You're just in time to see Dawn flip back and hopefully we can finish her off from here.

Because I didn't realize that he'd been healed and I was worried about killing him. I'll go back and edit if no one minds.

Good point about Omnitron's damage. There's also the Focused Plasma Cannon. We're guaranteed no damage on the environment turn, so taking him down to 1HP is fine.

Remind me why we decided to trash End of Days?  I thought the whole plan was to use it to wipe the whole group of Citizens as soon as Dawn flipped back?

Omni can pretty much wipe them out with Flechettes and Defensive Blast, so we don't need to lose all of our stuff in the process.

I think it’s better to just kill them all. Omnitronks is pretty set up.

Parse's ESP reveals...

Return With the Dawn

Channel the Eclipse

Devastating Aurora

Environment - The Realm of Discord

In Play: Explosive Bubble (1), Time Crawls (distortion)

Start: (none)

Play: Portal Fiend (17)

End: Bubble zaps Citizen Dawn [44] for 0 energy damage.

Effects:

- At the end of the Environment turn, the Explosive Bubbles deal 2 energy damage to the X non-environment cards with the highest HP, where X = the HP of the Explosive Bubbles.

- Each hero turn that hero's player must skip either their play or power phase. (Time Crawls)

- Reduce all damage dealt by villain targets by 1 (Time Crawls)

- At the start of the environment turn, Portal Fiend deals the non-environment target with the 2nd highest HP X Psychic damage, where X = the number of cards in the environment trash.  (Currently 5)

Current target HP track - and a few comments.  Just a summary for setting up the next round.

---

1. Villians other than Citizen Dawn were fully healed up by Healing Light.  (And Truth has since then been knocked back down.)

2. Citizen Blood hit Setback for 1 HP.  His attack got +1 from Citizen Tears being present, and -1 from Time Crawls.

3. Battery's attack on OX was negated between -1 for Time Crawls and -2 for OX's plating.

4. After Dawn flips the villains will be getting +1 due to advanced Citizen Dawn effect.  Plus Dawn will attack the high HP hero target.  On the plus side she won't play an extra villain card on this side.

nods I wasn’t recognizing OX’s ability to wipe the board there. No worries!
Let’s do this!

Neither did I. Don't worry setback will still get killed off

Prep for Round 7 (e.g. hero decisions that appear obvious to be coming up)

1. Will post villain turn once dpt indicates how Dawn's deck is to be stacked.  Also need an indication of which deck(s) Updated Intel should be used on.

2. Dawn is going to shoot Tachyon or OX for 3 energy damage (OX would only take 1 though due to plating)

3. Citizen Tears will do her thing and force all the heroes to discard a card.  Any who do will also take 1 (1 +1 -1) melee damage.

I think that is it - ESP placement, Updated Intel decision, OX/Tachyon damage decision, and then hero discards.

So either Tachyon takes 3 from Dawn or (as the highest after that attack goes to O-X) 3 from Battery? Not really much of choice you're giving me there chief!

I'll take the 3 energy damage please.

I disagree with that assessment.  Citizen Blood will have something to say about it.

Whichever one hits OX, Reactive Plating Subroutine will deal net 1 to Truth.

OX's discard for Tears will be Self-Sabotage.

Also, recommend Channel the Eclipse on top since Flechettes will kill it before it does anything.

Fanatic discards Chastise due to Tears.

Sorry for the delay! I forgot that Channel the Eclipse does its extra thing at the beginning of the villain turn. So it will be: Discard Devastating Aurora; put Channel the Eclipse on top, and Return with the Dawn below that.

I'd like to see the bottom of my own deck.

I think I should have taken 1 damage from Citizen Blood last turn, since I did discard. I think I should be at 7HP before Dawn plays: 7HP before the last villain turn, lose 1 life to Blood, then get healed for 1 by Omnitron-X. I'm about to lose another 1, down to 6HP.

This turn, Updated Intel reveals Data-Mining on the bottom of my deck. I leave it there. I also discard Updated Intel for Citizen Sweat. The next damage I deal is now increased by 6. Strike that, I'm boosting Fanatic's damage this time; her next damage is increased by 1. It's not much, but we need damage at the beginning of the next round.

If I hold back damaging from Consecrated ground and deal damage with Exorcism does the damage for the melee and radiant each get increased by one? Since I know Truth will gain a HP from Spring before I can hit him.   If it doesn't then I'll just hit him with the first instance of damage from consecrated ground.

I think it would just increase the melee.
