I’m gonna be honest, I thought the Principle of the Zealot iconic art was a variant of MechaStalin. The red star on his chest and boot (and whatever is going on with his arms) distracted me enough that I legitimately never noticed he was wearing a stars & stripes shirt.

I am seeing pictures the Gambian pouched rat with leashes and safety vests. Apparently, they can be trained for search & rescue / contraband detection.

Of course, I also can imagine inverse Bugbear and Calypso as a hero couple with a super creepy romance/sex/consumption + regeneration thing going on. “it’s consensual and your powers mean there is no lasting harm but please don’t talk about your detailed feelings for your partner”
