I honestly would have forgotten about Spooky November if they weren't so on about it. >.>
That Nightmist story was great!
I am catching up on my backlog of Letters Page episodes and nearly gave this episode a skip. Boy I sure am glad I didn’t, because this episode was an absolute delight!
Can Adam make the issue of Tomb of the Bizarre a reality please?
This episode is a prime example of why I'm happy to stick around well after the OblivAeon story is done. Story arcs and single-story episodes like this are my jam.
I agree, though I didn't like this particular story that much. It seemed like they came up with a framing for scenes that threw all the horror tropes at the wall to see what stuck, instead of having a focused story. Only one of the scenes in the house was actually necessary - the one where Nightmist discovers her client's husband - the rest could be cut.
I respectfully disagree. The story itself was never really about the mystery of what happened to the victim, but about the multiple stories of the house and it’s dark history. True, they used alot of tropes, but that doesn’t mean that they were haphazard in their use. They all helped create a very creepy atmosphere, like the house itself was collecting horror stories and storing them in all the different rooms inside itself…
Tomb of the Bizarre? You mean Tome?
