Try saying Inverseiverse Prime Wardens five times fast. http://theletterspage.libsyn.com/episode-91-inversiverse-prime-wardens
I enjoy their banter, but I'm 23 minutes in and they just barely started actually talking about the first character.
Akash'Terrier is obviously the superior Animalverse A'B
I did nothing today but listen to Disparations Letters Page episodes. Didn't get all the way through, but at least I got to experience "Nice chair, cupcake!" again for the first time. :D
This episode just made me want Inverse Dark Watch now.
I enjoyed this episode, the Inverseiverse really is quite interesting. I guess it makes sense that there wouldn't be any actual team of 'Prime Wardens', what with the big egos most of the multiverse's villains seem to have.
Though I think the Ennead fall under the umbrella of 'supervillain team'.
The Inversiverse Haka, though retroactively non-existent, was there at one point, and it’s pretty obvious what his deal was. I’m not going to come right out and say it, but… let’s just say that when he wanted to draw on the Savage Mana of his fallen foes, he approached the task with gusto.
I also like to picture Infinitor as a hero who has complete encyclopedic knowledge about OblivAeon, and has indeed gone insane as a result, but instead of blowing things up to try and silence the voices, he’s this lunatic sage with a Sherlock-like insight into everything that’s going on. After all, heroism is an inherently selfless thing to do, and most sane people don’t endanger their own lives to fight bad guys or rescue people from disasters or the like. You have to be a little crazy to do it even as a job with hazard pay, and crazier than that to do it for free. Whereas inverse CC is just a coldly rational sociopath, the perfect lawyer turned Cosmic Conqueror, who destroys alien planets as if solving a crossword puzzle, discarding them afterward and going on to do further evil.
(Apparently I’m making my own separate Inversiverse at this point, since their version was more like Cosmic Inventor Writhe with a little of Antimox. But I do like the canonical Primal Warden and Silver Sorcerer story, to the point that I want to turn it into a hero and villain deck pair.)
(I like Akash’Ptera, because she dates back before humanity. Maybe in the Inversiverse there were dino-people in the late Cretaceous, who were evil in normal reality and had to be destroyed by pre-human heroes.)
