Anyone else not getting the podcast to show up in their Google Play? Same thing happened with the Animated Universe Part 2 on Tuesday.

I'm not sure I actually learned much in the way of new things, but this was a lot of fun. Kind of a victory lap for that first, super-exciting play run of the RPG. :D

I’m glad I’m not the only one that hates YouTube search. It’s owned by Google, you’d think they’d know how to do a proper search function.

The Knights of the Order Cosmic feels to me like a thing the writers of Sentinel Comics wrote which was a blatant ripoff of the Nightlore Council from Abstract Comics (that’s the Cauldron fan expansion). I like to think SC had tried to buy out AC, failed, and made their own version with space blackjack and chargers.

We never see Sir Arton’s skin, all we know is that he’s big and has four arms. Could he be a Vruciad? Maybe Jansa the Terminarch isn’t actually an Endling anymore.

I’m workshopping a villain deck design for Stella Tenebrae based on how the last RPG session went down. I like the idea that half of her deck is wimpy little Grimloid targets, plus extremely difficult Laser Dragon targets that start in her trash, she has the Lunar Lance in play at the start of the game, and then there are a bunch of unique Grimloid transforms that overlay the normal ones like Titles, creating the named versions. I’d make up a couple extras besides the ones we saw, so that every damage type gets used (other than Radiant, since that would be off theme), giving us ten of those, but unlike Chairman or Kaargra, ST gets a full 25-card deck, with like 9 Grimloid cards, three Laser Dragons, the Lunar Lance, the Dark Incubation, the Chaos Portal, and two copies each of five one-shots, or maybe 3-3-2-2. One of the 3s transforms H-2 Grimloids, another one is a villainous monologue that does nothing other than heal her or play an environment card, and then the x2 includes her big attack on everyone and her ability to create the attack spires, which Dark Incubation turns into laser dragons reentering play. The Grimloids show up in packs, and if she burns through her deck once, she reshuffles trash and the laser dragons can just show up. So she’d be a Gloomweaver or Akash’Bhuta type of villain, usually not that dangerous, but with a really big and scary "everyone take ten damage and discard your hand kind of endgame potential.
