Flawless Field Medic Victory

Today, a friend and I decided to go very silly on the Story Challenges.  Our setup was not at all purist (Enhanced + Infernal Relics), and was:

Villain:  Akashbhuta

Environment:  Atlantis

Heroes:
  Argent Adept
  Fanatic (Promo)
  Tempest
  Nightmist

Our game started because we wanted to get Field Medic, and realized that Atlantis seems to be the best way to do that, with Tempest and AA the best characters to attempt it with.  Fanatic and Nightmist were thrown in for some damage, and lots of self-healing and other effects.

We managed early on to get 2 Bioluminscents out at the same time--but could not pull off the necessary healing in time before they were destroyed by Akashbhuta.  Nightmist went into a mistform fueled hibernation soon after (and drew her deck).  In the end, Tempest was first to get Field Medic (Embolden by Fanatic, Bioluminiscent, and 2 healing powers -- 6 HP to all hero targets).  Argent Adept was a lot longer to do this, and did this the wonky way:  (Vernal Sonata for 1 HP, Embolden by Fanatic, Pillars of Hercules from Environment, 3 powers leading to Pipes (with 2 healing Melodies), singing one Melody, and one other instrument to play the Melody again.)  Bioluminiscent didn't match up for a good time with Adept until far later.

In the process, we realized that we could bring this game down to a flawless victory--and several turns later, with lots of mass healing (including several of the Melodies being used to heal the nearly critically damaged Akashbhuta, and having to restrain all characters from doing any damage when possible), we managed that as well, and allowed the Kraken to passive-aggressively kill Akashbhuta with killing one of her Limbs.

Final tally for this game:

Release the Kraken
Heavy-Hitter (Fanatic, Nightmist, Tempest)
Powerhouse (Fanatic, Nightmist)
Although Prepared For Martyrdom (Fanatic, Nightmist, Tempest)
Field Medic (Tempest, Argent Adept)
First Aid Expert (Tempest, Argent Adept)
Triage Specialist (Tempest)
Invincible (All)
Flawless Victory (All)

Addendum:  Our Nightmist player apologized to us at the end, pointing out that after she drew her deck into her hand, she never played the card to lock down the villain deck--pointing out that with assistance from the rest of us, we could have simply prevented it from ever drawing another card.  We did end up forgiving them.  =)

Sounds like a fun game!

Quick question: You reference "Nightmists... drew her deck into her hand" - what do you mean by this?

Seems pretty straightforward.  The game lasted long enough for Nighmist to draw every single card in her deck.

Flame's got it right--Nightmist went invincible, and stayed as highest HP, to draw away much of the damage for the encounter.  This let her draw each turn, until she had every card (except the mistform) in her hand.
