So this is a proof-of-concept, really; I want to try out an idea, and since we have Around The World in 80 Plays going on now seems like as good a time as any to try it out. It is a game of forum Sentinels, but with the following rules in place:
1) No player is assigned to a particular hero/villain/environment. Instead, any player may take a turn with any hero/villain/environment.
2) You may not play two hero turns in a row (this includes those separated by villain turns). However, you may play environment and/or hero turns immediately before or after playing a hero turn.
3) To take a turn, simply place a comment calling dibs, and then edit it to add the turn in - this prevents two players typing up long turns only for one to be invalidated.
4) You may not call dibs on a turn if the previous turn has not yet been played out, to prevent people potentially dibs-ing future turns and then having to disappear.
5) Any decisions about ambiguous situations (e.g. who gets hit by damage in the case of a draw) are resolved by the player whose turn it is.
These rules are how I see this working best, but if you take issue with any of them they are up for discussion (except for 1, obviously; that would sort of defeat the point...)
