All right, here we go! Not sure why Bunker is first, but I like this variant a lot better than Wraith, or even Legacy, so I’ll take it.
Which is not to say either of those are bad, but neither improve their hero quite as much as this one does.

Bringing over the comment from my parallelly created version of the thread...
I wonder if the Freedom Five will have a theme like the Xtreme Prime Wardens did...
I usually go for story-based unlocks first, but in this case the F5 all got their new costumes when they rallied after the destruction of Freedom Tower by OblivAeon, which A) isn't really replicable right now and B) won't be the same unlock condition for all five members.
We've already had a "play all 3 mode cards" and a "draw lots of cards" as unlock conditions, which would be the ones that tie most obviously into his new mechanic. So... nothing really springs to mind here.
Good luck!
Good luck!
Well, I tried a thing based on the Wiki writeup - something about stockpiling artifacts and being pulled in multiple directions. I did a match in Tomb of Anubis vs. Gloomweaver, had both the Relics in Bunker's play area at the end, and had him deal a pile of damage to the heroes (incapacitating everyone else). Didn't work, but hey, it was worth a shot.
Then again, if it's one of those DCAA-style interactions where certain things between teammates are verboten, I probably didn't do stuff right. But I'm just throwing stuff against the wall.
I had an idea for a “prerequisite” game, wherein you play as the Freedom Five against Deadline in Freedom Tower, and lose by lack of environment. This could simulate Freedom Tower being destroyed.
Tried something sort of similar with the artifacts angle. Tried a game vs. Kismet in the Tomb of Anubis. Finished the game with the Talisman and both relics in Bunker's play area, and had him deal the final blow.
No unlock.
It could just be as simple as "Lose a game in Freedom Tower" first...
I doubt there is a loss condition that comes first. If there is, and the whole Freedom Five have that condition, it means losing each week after each unlock becomes available. I doubt they'd do that to us.
Um, did they press their magic button correctly? I’ve quit and reopened the app several times, even force-closing it, and I don’t see Freedom Five Bunker in the list of variants. (Android via Amazon if it matters.)
So, it also is not:
Lose a game to Deadline via destruction of Freedom Tower, with the Freedom Five
and then:
Win a game with Bunker in the lead position, vs. Kismet, in the Tomb of Anubis, and finish with the Talisman and both relics in Bunker's play area.
But if there is a prerequisite of Freedom Tower being destroyed first, I've fulfilled it as best I could think of.
Sounds like you need to update to the latest version (2.5.7). Amazon Appstore isn't great about auto-updates.
You are correct, sir, thank you!
You probably won’t have to lose each week, but rather each week’s prerequisite will involve getting Bunker first. Like with the original Prime Wardens.
Didn't Bunker blow up all/most of his suits during the OblivAeon event? Maybe External Combustion is a key part, or maybe Bunker has to be incapped/low HP with no equipment at the end of a game?
I'm not seeing the variant avaliable on my Steam version yet either...
Good luck everybody!
Freedom 5 entails the Freedom Tower environment the back of bunkers freedom five card has him blowing up the Ironclad maintenance Bay I’m wondering if it involves freedom five in Freedom Tower with that environment card in play I’ve been doing Nemesis battles with those caveats but I’m on Android so no logs. More attempts to come.
Heads up: there was an issue with the server setting and so Bunker wasn't actually unlockable until just now. Restart your game and it should pick up the change. Sorry about that, it was a new thing and it's my bad!
The Bunker suit had a software glitch.
