So tomorrow is FREERPGday (I made the important part stand out just for you), is anyone doing anything funky for it?
My plans are to go down to good old reliable Leisure Games and see what's kicking about, I know they are doing a thing but I'm not sure what is being run there.
Does this mean that if I go to a game store tomorrow, they have to sell me an RPG for free? What happens on a FreeRPGday?
Tomorrow's my birthday! So, we're hitting my favorite Indian restaurant for the lunch buffet, swinging by Bookery Fantasy for FreeRPGDay, then back home for game night.
FreeRPGday is a day when shops and game companies try to entice people into playing RPGs they might not have tried before, both people who play RPGs but might not have tried their particular product or people who have never played an RPG before.
The companies who participate make a specific product for the day and then it gets distributed to all the shops participating, worldwide. Typically on these days shops also 'open their tables' so that they have GMs to run those games or whatever else the shop wants.

This isn't a thing I've ever heard of but I used the store locator thingy on that site and the nearest stores are either London or Canterbury, lol. No chance for me, then.
