Just a couple of my pics of Sentinels costumes from GenCon. I know beevolant has more on her camera whenever she gets a chance to upload them.
I’m too lazy to figure out embedding, and don’t want to slow down anyone who uses their phone to access stuff with a bunch of images, so have some links to my twitpics!
(I saw a TF2 group and couldn’t resist grabbing some Scouts to go with our own speedster! ^_^)
Anyone else have Sentinels pics? I’d love to see shots of other costumes and Gen Con fun too, but we should probably put those in an Off Topic thread since it’s not really game related.
The shoes for Tachyon are perfect? Did you just happen to have those or did you have to go searching for them?
I looked for red and white running shoes, but they were all ridiculously expensive and none of them were quite what I wanted anyway, so I bought super cheap white running shoes with a detail pattern I liked and painted those sections red.
Here’s a close up from when I was working on them, if anyone cares: Twitpic; You can see where I just used the existing detail as the guide for where to paint. I’m pretty darn please with how they turned out.
Andy, do you mind if I put that picture on the official Facebook page? I’ve got a few pictures from the Chicago Comic Con, but not nearly enough of Gen Con.
