It’s that time of year again

Man, there’s something about hearing that little bit of crowd murmur at the start of a live show that really makes it.

Also, what the hell is this intro XD

Bolumbo? XD The voice thing is just wonderful. So sad Adam ended up with con crud!

The jazz version of the theme song is stellar. I really have to wonder how it was to be in a panel in an adjoining room at this time, the live music coming through the walls.

Aeturnus’ secret weapon is torment! Torment and consuming things! …Two secret weapons!

Okay, I need Haka shaking hands with the Grimace now, it will definitely cure my depression 100%

Gee, all this time, who knew he was just Baron Daddy Issues? :V

Being bubble wrapped comes with cookies? :eyes: Time to suffer grievous bodily injury!

Also yay, Christopher can never be harmed again! And now I need to watch the video for the parts I couldn’t see!

Totally missed the opportunity to say “The name’s Joe. Joe Lumbo.”

“The Fae will see you later on, my dudes.” That’s not ominous at all…

So I had already seen some piccies of the aftermath of the bubble wrapping bit that were shared with me, but watching the actual bubble wrapping was amazingly hilarious.

And somebody had better suggest that Haka and Sky noir episode, because I will instantly vote for it.

I just watched the video, too. It’s amazing how Christopher takes the hat off and immediately turns from a detective into a vampire. Which is just as well, because Adam pulled off the look way better.

Yeah, I actually had the same thought, that Adam looked better in this particular getup.

I tried to put my finger on why, and I think it’s that basically Christopher just is not blue-collar-looking enough. It’s why he, as you say, looks more like a vampire without the hat.

Christopher’s stylistic/sartorial place in a noir story is either as the criminal kingpin or the grey market pawn shop owner/fence/knowledge broker the detective gets info from.

Nice cosplay! Not quite sure which character is represented by a couple. Is that @Rabit in the back and who’s that costume meant to be?

And is the purpley character with blue hair and a dapper vest one of the questioners who’s playing Guise powered by the Philosopher’s Stone and wearing his friend’s clothes?

It’s my (EE) Hatch costume. Hence the ID card held up over the shoulder of that guy in the robe. (Who is that, again? :smirk:)

Comically, it’s easier to tell when you see the back of the shirt (as Christopher noted when I turned around at one point and he saw it ). (I had two shirts and two cards made, just in case I need them, but it also lets me take pics of both sides of them.)

I forgot to take my mask and lanyard off for that pic, unfortunately. :pensive:

Pictures of the ID card (with the red and black back that matches the EE art) and the shirt (the back with the prison details and the name tag on the front).

or the Fed that turns out to be a friend after spending much of the story as an antagonist.

I remember some skit about a TV producer talking about his new detective show. “Columbo wore a dirty overcoat, Kojak sucked on a lollipop my new detective sucks on dirty overcoats.”
