George RR Martin's Wild Cards: Get some great superhero ebooks for cheap, several days ago only.

I thought this might appeal to the superhero bunch here.

Five "Wild Cards books", from George RR Martin are on saleat amazon.com, today only, for $2.99 each.

I own them all and they are great. Wild Cards is a more realistic take on super powered people so it may not appeal to the people who only like four color comic adventures.

Heck, I own them all in paperback and I still might get them at that price.  Wild Cards is a pretty awesome take on super heroes in ther "real world"

I guess "today only" doesn't actually mean today.  The books are back to regular price now.

Sorry, that was posted few days ago…

They're still great books though.

Paul fixed it.

I've heard of Wild Cards, but them having anything to do with Grimmy is news to me.  I know them as an anthology by numerous different writers.

I believe they're still an anthology in some sense, but George R. R. Martin has taken over editing them for the last few books, and they feel his mark, and are fairly unified as novels.

He's always been the one in charge, created the setting, (it came out of an RPG he used to run) and has edited or co-edited all of them. He also writes, but does not have a story in every book.
