You said you would have more SotM:EE games in December and perhaps I was overly optimistic. I placed an order on December 6th. You took my money. I emailed GtG through the web contact form a week later on the 13th to ask for an update on my order because this was supposed to be a holiday gift. I have received no reply. I can make other arrangements; however, I need information to move forward. I need someone to reply to my email or my forum post and please tell me what to expect. Thank you!
Apologies, ciullmann: They've said in various communications (including here on the forums) that they can't get the shipment in before the holidays, as hard as they are trying.
Sorry for the bad news…
I apologize if your message on the website went un-responded-to. We have spoken with the shipper, and their current estimate for delivery is "7-10 days" from now. Their previous estimates have been off by quite a bit, but this is the shortest "time to delivery" estimate they've given us so far, so we can only hope that it is correct. In any case, as soon as we get the delivery, we will ship out all of our backorders ASAP, even if it means working on holidays and weekends. You will receive a FedEx tracking number for your online order as soon as it ships.
Thank you, Rabit and Paul. I didn't get or see any of these communications so maybe there are other ways GtG can stay in touch with customers. I really look forward to receiving our copy of SotM:EE. It has been greatly anticipated at our house!
I also have an order issue. I have called and emailed with no response. Its kind of frustrating to have a contact email and # but then fail to use them.
I agree with that. Especially for a small company, where you can't always do what big companies do, the one thing you can do is answer emails, and you should be doing it without fail. Not answering correspondence from people who want to give you money is a bad sin.
I'd placed my order on 30-Nov. No great rush, not needed for the holidays or anything. But would like to get a general idea, from the experiences of the organization, how long something like this might take (in general). As good as this game system is, waiting a month for delivery is acceptable (if not normal industry practice). You guys have made a h3[[ of a game and deserve lauds for it.
We have evidently been having some trouble with emails lately. Here is an update for all of you on the forum who are wondering about your order. The games are currently in a cargo container on their way to the US from China, but the shipping company currently tells us that they are about a week out. That means that they are unlikely to arrive in time for Christmas. However, they should arrive some time a week later. As soon as they do, we will work overtime to ship out all of the games (I'm even planning to spend a chunk of Christmas packing games if they are here by then). You will receive a FedEx tracking number when they do ship.
Thanks for your patience everyone, and sorry about the delay.
Brilliant, and thank you. I cannot tell you how many people I am addicting to your game. Here's hoping your success continues!
Are you sure you can't tell us? We've got a whole thread devoted to it: http://sentinelsofthemultiverse.com/forum/topic/sentinels-multiverse-challenge
Any updates on the orders? I notice the store here doesn't talk about things being on preorder.
Google just sent me an email saying my order shipped via FedEx.
We got a ridiculously huge cargo container full of games yesterday and spent all day unloading it. We are now beginning the packing and shipping process. Boxes will ship out in the order they were received, and you will get your tracking number as soon as we create the label (so if you ordered something that was out of stock in late October, for example, you should have your tracking number already). Everything ordered from our store should ship out by the end of the week, and brick-and-mortar stores should start having stock again in a couple of weeks.
Woohoo! Glad to hear it's arrived.
Woot!
Great news.
Man, so sad that my wife got my Christmas present from Funagain. I still have to wait a few weeks before I get to play! I can't handle it!
