I know the game isn’t built for these, but has anyone tried these? If so, with which and how many heroes? What worked well? What didn’t?
I’m going to try these soon and would like advice before I start. I really want to try the FF vs. PW, but figure I should start 3 on 3 with, say, Parse,Tachyon and Chrono Ranger vs. Legacy, Visionary, and Fanatic. Thoughts?
I think we had a forum game like this once, and I didn’t go well.
It's a little too easy for heroes to focus fire and it ends up not being very fun (especially if you're playing a squishy hero). Villains very rarely focus one particular hero.
We did–I was in that game. It was kind of…well, unfair for certain characters is putting it nicely. Un-tactfully, it was kind of a train-wreck.
The game would need a number of big house rules to make PvP viable in the base SotM game.
