Heroes incapacitated vs. Unforgiving Wasteland

In the video game, when an environment target reduces a hero to 0 hp while Unforgiving Wasteland is in play, the player is given a choice of whether or not to remove the hero from play.  The explanation for this behavior is the ruling that when multiple "would be destroyed" effects are triggered, the player is allowed to choose which applies.  However, in this situation there are not multiple "would be destroyed" effects.  Unforgiving Wasteland is the only "would be destroyed" effect.  The hero incapacitation rule is an "is destroyed" effect.

If the ruling also applied to cases with a "would be destroyed" effect and an "is destroyed" effect, then players should also be allowed to choose whether or not to resolve the effect of Ammo Drop before Unforgiving Wasteland removed a villain target from play, or whether or not to use Bee Bot's effect to destroy Unforgiving Wasteland before its effect could resolve.  But, players are not given these options, meaning that the behavior is inconsistent.

We haven't gotten this into the fireside chats yet, and apparently forgot to make the change in the video game (it will be in the next update). The rules have the following addition: When a hero would be destroyed, they are incapacitated, instead.

Speaking of, when is the next (and previous!) update?
