Infinitor turned hero?

So looking at the image from Christopher's update https://greaterthangames.com/content/sentinel-comics-preorder-update we get a glimpse of the Infinitor promo villain card.   It would seem to indicate that Captain Cosmic succeeded in getting his brother back but not entirely.   Still it's interesting lore wise that he was able to get his brother back as normally in comics these things end tragically but I guess this still could.

As a side note I'm sure Habdelabra is not looking forward to configuring that one in the video game.

It looks like you have get the manifestations low enough so that infinitors eot attack puts them underneath him to win.I wonder how his flip side works? Like la Capitan where he is immune to damage or maybe each manifestation gives him a plus one and he starts to attack the hero's in a big way

I suspect he will attack heroes on his flipped side.   Based on Infinitors current deck it seems like it could be rather rough to win since only Infinitor doing damage can take the manifestations out of play because it brings you close to a case where he plays almost nothing but all of his one shots.

It seems like you just need to burn out most of his deck, because isn't his deck setup to get out at least one manifestation per villain turn, no matter what

His deck is setup so that his one shots should end up playing a manifestation.

Maybe on his flip side the manifestations that are under neath him can come out again, that way his deck doesn't become full of one shots like one manifestation that was underneath comes out per turn

I would hope they go to the trash or stay under him if he flips or that the win condition changes if he flips.

At least there won't be any crushing cages to deal with

Are we getting small versions of the new promo villains?

I imagine they will eventually.

Infinitor isn't the only promo card in that image.

Kismet appears to have one too based on the HP shown but all the setup text is blocked in that case.

I wonder if promo Kismet has her own talisman or just interacts with the current one differently

I think that the Infinitor promo is amazing, flavour-wise.  Capt. Cosmic manages to reach out to his brother and convince him to change sides, but Infinitor is still harrowed by mental troubles, with manifestations that he can't control wreaking havoc?  What incredible development in his character and his relationship with his brother.  It shows a lot about the heroes as well that they accept him as an ally and do the best they can to deal with the consequences.  I didn't order the oversized villain cards because I've always felt that the regular ones did the job just fine, but that promo is making me reconsider soooo hard...

That's what I like about this promo both mechanic and story wise so far.   I'm sure play testers know what his flipped side does but I would guess he becomes a villain target again(or not a target at all) that lashes out at everyone on the field.     Also on the other side the heroes can't win the game I suspect as they want to save their ally and if he is still a target destroying him causes a loss.   As to how you get him flip back over I imagine there has to be some special condition involving the manifestations he can get under him from his initial side.

I bought the oversized villain cards because I liked the direction from the art preview and I wanted to get a hold of the older promo villains in Cosmic Omnitron and Bomber Blade.

Doubt it honestly

Eventually!

AND YOU DOUBTED, FOOTE? YOU DOUBTED THE GTG? What do you think "Greater Than" means, dude?!

Kidding. Great news, Christopher!

Oh hooray!  That would be great.  :)
