Hello everyone - i just got on halloween on my birthday sentinels of the multiverse - and it`s a really good game. After obliterating all basic villains one question lingers in the mind though - do we played fair in all games ? The problem is about this wording - "take a card from the trash". If we search a deck we can choose any card , if we reveal it - we need to choose first card that matches the criteria. But there is no "search" and no "reveal" on this cards . Instead we have "take" on cards - "reclaim from the deep" in tempest deck and "mental divergence" in visionary deck, also we got "select" in card "decomissioned hardware". Does "select" and "take" differs somehow from each other? Should we take a top card from the trash that matches criteria (like reveal) and select any card from the trash we like(like search)? Or what - i am confused how this cards should work...
Well, in the case of a trash, there is no defined order (it can be rearranged) and can be searched at any time (and, in some cases, such as Tachyon, Citizen Dawn, and a few others, must be searched at times). This makes "revealing" from the trash until the first available to not really work at all. Thus, any time you are to take a card from the trash, you just take a card from the trash (if there are restrictions on which card you can take, make sure the card fits with the restrictions).
As far as I know, "Take" and "Select" have little to no difference between the two of them.
