Kind of ridiculous game against Citzen Dawn

Just got done with this one (took a while), was unlocking Mad Bomber Blade, so I set up a team I could control the game with, Greatest Legacy, Tempest, Bunker, Wraith, and Visionary in Wagner. A few turns worth of set up and Blood Sweat and Tears hit play, So I decide to knock them out with Grenade Launcher, effectively getting the Hero Achievement: Sundown, Dawn flips, fourth Citizen is Anvil, who I decide to knock out with Motivational Charge, effectively getting the Lead the Charge hero achievement, then, just gor giggles, I control Dawn's deck so Hammer comes out next while a Meteor storm is in play, which I use that time to spam Downpour and get two Twist the Ethers on him, fetching Controlled Burn hero achievement. The last round, Hammer goes down, I could easily end it (dawn's at 4 with Bunker, Wraith, and Visionary looking at her) Instead, I realize that Visionary is only down 1 HP (everyone else is max) so I adhesive foam grenade, Throat Jab, and Infrared Eyepiece to let Dare come out next.

Long story short, three hero achievements, an unlock, full health. (and really, if I hadn't already unlocked Rook City Wraith and Bunker, it'd been three unlocks)

And no, I'm not going to try that again on Rook City in Advanced. It was a long enough game as it was.

Didn't realize they had achievements on the steam version.   I thought that was going to be implemented layer for all platforms.   Sounds like you got exactly what you wanted out of that team for sure.

Oh sorry for the misunderstanding, they don't have achievements in the video game, I was referring to the Hero Achievements sheet GtG put out last year for the card game (the same time they put out the Villain Challenge sheet.) I use the checklist both for physical and digital games.

I'm looking forward to when they introduce achievements into the digital game.

There's a much easier way to whack Blood, Sweat, and Tears for the unlock. Bring Haka along and eat them with Savage Mana. When you unleash the attack, that counts as them all being killed in one turn.

Funny story: When I did it, I just had Haka eat everybody, and prepared to win the fight and get the unlock all in one go with a huge Haka of Battle plus Savage Mana. Except I miscalculated the damage when I did it and it ended up leaving Dawn alive with 1 HP left...and then because Haka was the last hero in the rotation, it was suddenly the start of her turn and all of her Citizens were in the trash...

well, at least you probably didn't have too long until she reshuffled them into her deck. Sounds like a good laugh at least.

That's when you pull out a Sucker Punch or a Wrathful Gaze.  There's nothing funnier than watching Dawn merge with the sun, and then having Ra say "You call that the power of the sun?  Die!"
