Kismet's Heirloom

Another quick clarification question…

When the heirloom flips and is in play in front of a hero does it become a hero target? My instinct is yes (and this is the way my wife and I played it) but a clarification on this is very important since there are so many "non-hero" and "non-villian" damaging effects in the game. Our logic is that if the hero's gain benefits from the card it is a hero target and if Kismet gains benefits then it is a villian target. But again, we want to ensure that every victory we have is ligitimate–after all, real heros never cheat!  :slightly_smiling_face:

Nope, the card is always part of Kismet's deck, and thus is a villain target, just like the items in the Tomb of Anubis are always environment cards.

Also, if it comes up, the Talisman counts as a villain character card, not just a villain card, because it flips and doesn't have a regular deck back like normal villain cards.  There are some things you can't do to character cards, so it could come up in a game for you.

Thanks for the clarifications. This will be helpful next time we play her.
