I did not buy the new RC/IR re-release so I don't know how the card text have changed. What is the new wordings on Matriarch's cards to address this issue? Will someone post new Matriarch's card images? Thanks. :)
How does the new order-of-play ruling fit in?

The text which plays a new card after every Fowl is now on Matriarch's card, so it will happen regardless of what happens to the birds. HTR can kill every Bird as it comes out (triggering retaliation from Matriarch of course), but it doesn't stop the extra card plays from happening - it never did, the new ruels just make it easier to comprehend why.
Yah, it's easily solved now by moving the text to the Matriarch. I wish that Shock Rounds had been fixed too (we all know the ruling, but the text isn't clearer).
