I ended a game with Warfang with Nightmist, "The Reckless, Indiscriminate Champion Chaos Lord."
Apparently the crowd loves repeated castings of Oblivion. Who knew? Faye was totally obnoxious about all the titles she accrued as she left the arena. Started demanding all her teammates call her that all the time now. Totally let it get to her head.
Joking aside, what heroes are you noticing are good at grabbing titles in the Kagaara Warfang fight? Nightmist with her shenanigans seems awfully good at nabbing them, but she's my main hero. I get the feeling that my other mains, like Mr. Fixer and Omni-X wouldn't have such an easy time.
KNYFE is the Queen of the arena. She can easily gain most titles, and Stonejaw is the only one she can't get on her own.
I once earned 5 titles in one turn with Knyfe.
Fanatic is my favorite arena champion (Living Weapon+The Seeker is INSANE!), but KNYFE might be the most Title grabbing Character.
Haka is just ridiculous though, I've gained 4 titles and 16 favor with a Rampage. The crowd loves it when Haka just runs in and starts punching all of the things.
I played a game with Sky-Scraper where she ended up with five titles.
The game ended when The Unbreakable Mindbreaker Sky-Scraper the Indiscriminate Reckless Living Weapon turned into a Thorathian Monolith and and demolished pretty much everything in the arena, including herself and Warfang. When the dust settled, Guise and Legacy were both standing amid the rubble and the roaring crowd (I stopped counting the favor after it got over 28). Guise was known as Death-Caller the Chaos Lord and damned proud of it. Legacy however needed no title.
Guise the Indisciminate Mindbreaker Living Weapon Seeker
Besides increasing his base power by 2 he also Increased damage by 1, first time each turn you're dealt damage, deal each target 1 damage, and whenever you deal damage you increase the next damage dealt to that target by 2. So whenever I was hit I'd then hit everyone for 2, and then increase the next damage they take by 2. Nearly killed us all with that combo. Some titles can combine into very nasty combos.
Love the Reckless title, makes me feel even better about giving my own custom hero that same ability long ago, even better when you double up on it. It took me many tries changing the ability to finally settle on how it would work. Just like when I saw The Sentinels, I'd been working on my own multi character hero but in that case I never figured out how exactly to design the extra card with the rules until I saw how GtG did it. I know I can't post details here but for those that have seen the custom decks on BGG you may have seen some of my stuff. I go by the same name over there too. Even got my main hero drawn by Matthew Bishop (tosx) as thanks for using my templates, which is my current avatar here.
