Oh! Also, maybe a good thing to do in the fandom, for ease of use, is to refer to the villain Omnitrons by their code names and the ones that lead to Omnitron X with their letter designation? Just a suggestion to make things easier?
The Omnitron-U information was interesting. Though the connection to the beginning of Termi-nation has me a bit confused since there isn't much said about Omnitron-U in the Termi-nation bios.

They just casually drop that Omnitron-X was destroyed in the Tactics timeline, but don’t explain how! I guess we’ll have to wait for the Omnitron episode…
Kidding aside, there was a lot of cool stuff in this one.
It seemed to be implied he was destroyed during OblivAeon in the Tactics timeline.
Look at the comic for Tactics (maybe Flame of Freedom) and you see him get defeated.
Hmm, I’ll have to go check! I held off on reading the scenario comics in Tactics so I wouldn’t spoil myself, but then we never played a scenario. I’ll just go read 'em!
Why would they just casually glance over Omnitron X getting destroyed in the Tactics timeline without explaining how that ever happened? You'd think that would be a really big deal for the heros and especially Unity after, you know, the whole Omnitron-U storyline, so why was this just ignored? Little bits like this kinda get lost in the fold
Omnitron-X was already destroyed prior to Obliveaon so it was Omnitron-U that was lost I believe.
It didn’t feel ignored to me at all. The way I understood it, Heroic Omnitron survived Obliveaon in the RPG timeline and evil Omnitron is “dead”, seemingly for good. Heroic Omnitron didn’t survive Obliveaon in the Tactics timeline (much like Rook City) and evil Omnitron resurfaced.
Unless I completely misunderstood what they said he didn’t die during the Tactics timeline so much as never make it there at all.
You're missing some bits. Omnitron X was destroyed but merged with unitys OmniBot prior to Obliveaon. In Oblivaeon its stated that the body of OmniBot was deteriorating and badly damaged, so it took some time to build itself back up again. Thats when the worlds split into Tactics and RPG timelines. There is a point between him fighting with Oblivaeon and when reminants of Omnitron IV find the destroyed head of OmnitronX (as seen in the Tactics comic) to assimilate and become Omnitron V where Omnitron is destroyed again, and I wanna know what it is.
It would be a good question to ask though I'm wondering when they will do their Interludes to answer follow up questions. What I would guess is in the RPG timeline he wasn't involved in an OblivAeon fight that lead to his ultimate demise in Tactics. I would also guess that OblivAeon fight either involved him trying to save Unity again and/or trying to harness what was left of Omnitron IV to fight against OblivAeon.
I think the timeline split is the key. Whatever happened that caused the world to get more damaged by Oblivaeon in the Tactics timeline is probably what killed Omnitron X. I wouldn't be surprised if they glossed over it in the podcast because they are waiting to discuss that topic until they reveal more info on the RPG.
