I just noticed when looking at the box mock-up on Kickstarter how much stonework there is on GSF components. The backgrounds on Station cards are stone with a chisel emboss. The box has the same stone background/emboss. It's an unusual choice for a space game, where you don't typically see a lot of stonework in space. You'd normally expect to see more glass and steel on boxes and components. Maybe this was part of the obviousness of the fantasy theme? Or maybe stone backgrounds is just not the best choice for a space game? Any thoughts?
Hmm. With the bolts as accent, it looks more like tarnished and war-worn metal, to me.
I think the space dragon is the obviousness.
