Miss Information

And she now goes by:

MISS INFORMATION!

Wooo, those were some cool piccies...so, she's not known as the Assistant any more? That was a sneaky false name? Ooh, what a bugger she is ;).

why the name change?

Here are some things I’ve noticed. In Diversionary Tactics, on the screen at the left, the lady in gown with blue/green hair, have we seen her before? If not, she might be a future hero.
In Suspicious Malfunction, Miss Information is wearing an earring on her left ear, not seen in other art.

"The Assistant" isn't much of a villain name. It works for "The Organization" because that sounds dark and ominous. No supervillain would call herself "The Assistant" if her goal was to NOT be the assistant to someone else!

We don't want too many villains with "the" in their name. I love the name Miss Information. But I'm just partial to puns, so it makes me happy.

Also, with regards to the lady in the gown, some seem to think she is Citizen Winter.

I have various reasons for saying this, being a playtester, and I am pretty much 100% certain she is Citizen Winter.

This woman's dress is white.  Winter's outfit is blue.  Also, Winter's hair has the same lens-flare-esque sheen Nightmist has.  This mysterious woman on Miss Information's card doesn't fit Winter's description at all.

I kind of assumed it was Newest Legacy, dressed in her uniform. The angle skews the view we see.

I love that the cup Miss Information is holding says "America's Finest Assistant", even the Multiverse is not immune to people cashing in on the heroes' trademarks!

I am actually 100% certain that it is NOT Citizen Winter!

Damnit! Another cryptic post from Christopher. Just say what you actually mean man, in plain English.

As if we should believe anything said by >G in a forum topic all about "missinformation" :stuck_out_tongue:

I assure you, everything I say is 100% true, at least 50% of the time.

She looks metalic. Maybe a robot or a female version of whatever that weird creature on Hollow Points is?

but... she... cold...

GAAH

Not Citizen Winter? Oh well. I guess we'll find out later.

I think Miss Information's nemesis symbol {} is the empty set (from math class). Meaning she has no nemesis. That's because she has no HP. The nemesis rule boosts damage, but no HP means no damage. Or I could be wrong and in a future expansion the villains will learn to fear the heroic power of Professor M. T. Set.

She has HP…

And while her not having an actual nemesis makes some amount of sense, I do think that one potentially exists. SOMEONE had to kill her in an alternate timeline, after all.

Not necessarily - her grudge against the Five is because "they chose to save someone else" or words to that effect - we don't know what caused her life to become endangered as well. It might've been an accident of some kind, like a natural disaster or some other thing which meant that she was kille without being the direct and deliberate target of an attack. Maybe she was in the base when it was attacked or something (like maybe someone dropped a bomb on it or whatever), so was more a case of collateral damage.

Even if she never took damage herself and you could only win by some other method I assume she still deals damage herself at some point, which would bring the nemesis effect into play.

Thematically, villains are rarely gone forever after being dealt with a single time in comics. She could go on to do other villainy things after her initial betrayal of the Freedom Five and pick up a nemesis later. Or maybe there's another office worker type person in the F5 HQ that always suspected her or something. I can think of things that work. They're all kinda wacky but that's par for the course in a comic book style setting.
