Oh not again...
OMG I KNOW RIGHT?
It's totally true! Everytime I play Mister Fixer, I only draw the same 10 cards! I never draw anything good and he is about as good as a fish out of water.
Apparently Christopher agrees with you, that's why he just got a buff.
Mister Fixer was totally weak because if I'd had that dual crowbar ruling a few days ago, I might have won against The Dreamer. ;)
Mr. Fixer vs Magicarp.....Magicarp wins!!!
Plays Grease Gun
That dual crowbars buff is awesome. I crushed the matriarch and plague rat with it this morning. that infection damage looks so sweet when it hits him for 5 damage
Yeah. i had him hit the operative for 25 damage, and then the next turn hit the chairman for about 30, so he really isnt weak at all.
Wow. How did you get 25 damage out of Fixer? I like Fixer a lot and am still working out the kinks on him. The best I've done so far was 8 damage on the second hit of a Dual Crowbar.
You know you can't target the same target twice with Crow Bars.
Legacy had inspiring presence and galvanized, there was an explosive wagon out, ra had imbued fire out, and i had grease money fist, harmony and duel crowbars. So my total was at +7. I played out overdrive, where i hit one of the chairmans thug for 8, and then hit the operative for 8 + another 8 because of nemesis rules. So i hit her for 16, twice. So it was actually 32 damage dealt.
Edit: Nvm. I read your post wrong haha
I would say Mr.Fixer is like unity amd AZ. not useful all the time, but when he is, he can really lay a beatdown on the opponent
What do you mean another 8 for nemesis? Nemesis just means that you add one to the damage being dealt.
He hit the thug for 8 damage. You now take that 8 damage, add in the +7 from damage modifiers, and tack on an extra +1 for the nemesis, and you get 16 damage to the Operative with the second crowbar swing.
Ah, I see. In my case, an Infected Fixer had bit himself for 4 (Inspiring Presence, Galvanize, Grease Monkey (I think)), and then used the second hit to hit Plague Rat for 8.
It also seems as if Jack Handle trumps Infection attack, since it causes him to do "that damage" to all non-hero targets whenever he would do damage. It happened in one of my games yesterday. Fixer went to do himself 1 Irreducible, but instead dealt 1 Irreducible to all non-heroes thanks to Jack Handle.
There's all sorts of odd effects with Fixer that I'm learning from the app. When I've played before, I just played that Fixer dealt himself the 1 damage from Infection and THEN did the damage to all non-hero targets.
Mr. Fixer is probably single handedly the best Hero to pit off against plaugue rat
Chrono-Ranger knocks Mr Fixer into a cocked (Jim's) hat vs. Plague Rat, especially on advanced.
