Mr Fixer Overdrive + Cosmic Weapon question

I was playing a solo game tonight with the Schoolar/Captain cosmic/Mr fixer vs the Enead and I ended up giving fixer the cosmic weapon when an Overdrive came up.  A bit puzzled by the interaction of Fixer having more than one power to use, I wondered what the correct resolution

A) You may use strike twice, or you can use cosmic weapon once after playing overdrive (What I did on the spot, as it is possible in any interpitation and with harmony Tigerclaw and jackhandles, 2 more damage dealt overall than just using cosmic weapon)

B)You may use Cosmic Weapon then strike

C)You may use cosmic wepaon, then strike twice. (I doubt it, but it is a way to interpet the "You may use mr fixer's strike power twice this turn" if he doesn't use his power on that.)

Option C is correct.

I concur.

Yep, as long as you use the other power first (Including Micro-Assembler, Rod of Anubis, Idol of Anput) you still get to use Strke Twice that turn.

If you strike first, then you don't have a power to use other than the second Strike Overdrive grants you.

This is why out of turn Overdrives are so much fun.

Okay, thanks for the speedy response,  I knew of the ruling on out of turn overdrive, hence my indicision. So captain cosmic does the one thing that I didn't think possible, made me enjoy using fixer. Also, I would not use that team on any one other than the enead as the complete and utter lack of any ongoing/environment destruction was painful, even against them.

Try Fixer with Skyscraper.

Use Micro-Assembler to get Jackhandle.

Use Compulsion Canister to deal 2 irreducible damage to all non-hero targets.  Twice.

Micro Assembler also lets you have turns where you play Charge then put Grease Gun into play from your deck.

DW Fixer + Tiny Sky-Scraper is amazing, since she can return 2 links from the trash, and only 1 from the field destroying Compulsion Canisters is actually a positive.

I believe the alternate title for Wrath of the Cosmos is Rise of the Fixer.
