The more observant amongst you will have noticed Ronway's recent shiny (and let's be honest, crappy ;)) new avatars recently. I may have followed suit with my own avatar but of course I can't hope to compete with his artistic talents.
As the title suggests, these masterpieces of rubbish digital fan art were created in MS Paint in less than 300 seconds, with very little care and attention or technique or drawing ability. I love them!
And we also have Bluehairedmeerkat's excellent Ennead effort - 9 characters in 75x75px. I don't know how long that one took so it may not be strictly eligible for Paint>5mins status, but it certainly captures the flavour of this medium. [EDIT: I take it back, after a better look on a screen that's a decent size. That picture is far too good to be a P>5min. Far. Too. Good.]
So it's my birthday on Wednesday. And what I want as a present is... more pictures! And this is my challenge to you, oh gracious forum dwellers. Your prize is the knowledge that you made me and your fellow forumites smile. :)
The Rules
Draw something from the Sentiverse - any character, object, building, whatever. Doesn't have to be a copy of official art, be imaginative if you want.
Use MS Paint/similar to do the drawing. Alternative programs are acceptable as long as they are equally as basic, with no fancy stuff. What the hell, if you can do a Paint-style drawing in Illustrator then go right ahead.
No filters, special brushes, layers, or other poncy clever tools. We're talking the standard pen/brush, and maybe the spraycan if you're doing glowy light or something.
5 minutes ONLY. This is very important. Less is probably better. My original drawing of Citizen Dawn took considerably longer than that and entirely lacked the charm of Ronway's Dawn (which I regrettably saved over in my idiocy).
I can't stress this enough: don't try to make it good. Recognisible, yes. Good, no. Crappy is what we're going for here because crappy is amusing.
Make it Safe For Work please. Personally I'd be totally happy to see a hot Tempest/Legacy/Mongolian Death Worm session in all its lurid glory, but let's not get anyone sacked or arrested or in trouble with their significant other or parents or whatever.
Try this: copy the picture, click paste in the comment box, then another box should appear. Click paste again in this box. This should put the pic directly into the post.
Your comment about Tempest/Deathworm slashfic is particularly amusing to me, since the next Sentinels game I play will be my 69th. I really wanted to commemmorate the occasion with a sex-themed game, but there really isn't a lot of suggestive content in Sentinels...about the best I could come up with is Nightmist, Visionary and the Wraith vs. Kismet in Insula Primalis, and I've already fought her there. (There are absolutely no Environments which work for this theme; IP is just the least inappropriate, since at least it's warm and primitive there.)

edit: okay, when I hit the edit button the picture is there. When I hit the post button it disappears. I keep shrinking it thinking tat is the problem, but what am I doing wrong?
yeah, I had some crazy trouble like that too. We need a 'how to' thread on here :-) in the end I attached the picture to the post then copied the attachment inline - probably not the technically correct way to do it but it worked!
Cool, I already drew a bunch of random Sentinels stuff for my partner to guess what they were when he was at my house a while back and we were sitting around not doing very much - I just drew various different characters and stuff in Paintbrush and he'd guess what they were (I started just using the black paintbrush but then started adding more colour on later pics - didn't bother filling anything in, though). I'll draw a bunch of them again and post them up on here for you at some point :).
