Newbie question - where can I find the Lore for the game?

Recently got into Sentinels via the digital version, and as a long time fan of comic books and strategy games, I’m loving it so far!

However, I’d like to read up on the characters and storyline a bit more - I have read all the Multiverse stuff in the digital game, and gleaned some things from context in a few places, but would like to know where / how to find out more - is there any other written material I should be looking for, or is everything else fleshed out by the letters page podcast?

Thanks for any help you can give me!

Welcome to the forums!

The Best collected information at this point is on the wiki https://sentinelswiki.com/index.php?title=Main_Page and the Letter Page episodes have a quick write up done by WalkingTarget on there though I’d still highly recommend listening to those episodes.

The letters page is a great source of Canon it's at http://theletterspage.libsyn.com .

Welcome to the forums!

Christopher and Adam’s mind.

But lacking that where those fine folk said. And welcome to our madness, where we piece together their world. The flavor text gives alot of insights, even if a few are off or have weird answers for them. (La Capitan’s face on mount Rush more was passed a Miss Information thing till some Writer retcon it and said it was Maria Helena all along. . .)
But seriously I love the “Writers” sub multiverse. I need to remeber the universes names. Anyone have that memorized? I just remeber MistStrom.

The lore is super interesting, but always remember that as the person running the game, you can edit, omit, or add to it to make the game the most interesting for you and your players.

Great name, by the way

Of note that there's a few actual comics, as well.

The ARG comics are littered with various little interesting looks at events and personalities.

The Tactics games have actual minicomics in the scenario books.

And there's a free comic about the forming of the Freedom Five.

But otherwise, yeah, it's mainly the Multiverse and the Letters Page.

Thanks all for the help and the welcome! I’ll have a go at the Pod cast to see what I can learn!

So, we've got the "Writers of Sentinels Comics" layer

The Multiverse which includes many ridiciculous things we can list seperately (Plant-verse, Animal-verse, the various disparation stories, ect ect ect)

The Sentinel Comics Universe, which is the RPG setting

The Mist Storm Universe, which is the Tactics Setting

Yeah the only problem with that method is it involves consuming them and a dark ritual I need to borrow from the Cult of Gloom guys(Note not Cult of Gloom Guise,  don't borrow anything from that guy)

I figure I would know everything then, but we wouldn't get any more Sentinels games because its hard to make games without brains.

Anyways

Ditto to what others said.  The wiki is great.  The RPG books will surely have tons of info and finally if you like podcasts, the Letter Page really gives you the best info about all these characters

We normally have no problem handing out dark magic to people who are in no way prepared to deal with the ramifications of what they are about to unleash, but, we are rather fond of C and A and don't want to hurt their brains…more so since the starter kit has left us hungry for the main rule book next year.

Grown fond?  Really.  Seems off brand for you guys.   I’m skeptical of your ability to summon your dark lord if you harbor such sentimentality.  I mean if I share some beers in the swamp with you guys do I get on the “Do not eat his brain list?”

He's just setting himself up for their inevitable betrayal, failure, or death.  They're not just about everyone else's gloom, after all.

Even evil understands you don't simply kill off useful sources of information.
