Next Kickstarter rewards

Here's another conversation starter (bored at work today):  what do we want to see from the next Kickstarter when it comes around?  Obviously (or is it...?) we all want at least one more alternate hero, since that seems to be the norm with each expansion.  Personally, I don't find the art prints to be compelling, or getting my face on a card, but I found the whole new hero and villain decks (with or without having to pay $5, I'm fine with either) to be very, very compelling.  And I found the alternate villains to be quite compelling as well.  Things like the oversized villain cards are probably a huge deal to some people, but since I play with my own oversized accessories, those aren't quite as squee-worthy for me.

So I'd want to see new brand heroes, villains, and environments available as rewards first, as many as humanly possible.  After that comes alternate versions of existing heroes and villains, followed by pretty much everything else.  What about you guys?

Personally, I would love to have my likeness as a character on a card.  I just don't have the $200-$300 to justify paying for it.

I'm w/ Spiff -- alternate cards and new decks.

I prefer game content over anything else. So new heroes, villains, environments, and alternate heroes and villain characters.

The second best thing will be a new issue of Baptism by Fire.

All the other playmats, tshirts, art prints, oversized villains are really meh.

Extra game content.  And more comics.  Maybe some small Hero knicknacks (The Legacy Ring and Mister Fixer's Rook City ball cap anyone?).

Alt. versions of heroes and villains, and more promo heroes and villains. That's all I want.

As shown in a post by Rabit, I already have a Mister Fixer Rook City ball cap, heheh

Definitely bonus environment decks. I feel there are too few of them right now.

I'd like to stick up for the 'having your face on the card' bonus. It's a nifty, unique backer benfit and as it sells out within the first 3.7 minutes every time, it's clearly a popular one that drives more money to the Kickstarter.

I'd agree that I prefer in game content over art prints, but art prints are relatively easy to produce and dont' requite a ton of extra work whil in game content definitely does. Yes, I know I'm being boring talking practicality over cool but I'm like that.

However, for stretch goals, more environments is definitely on my list, as are more promo cards. I mean, we've still got 6 heroes and 2 villains to promo upo just from the base set. More heroes and villaisn, obviously, but the environments could do with more options, especialyl for a set with alternate realities. How much fun could you have with those in the environment.

I'd like more comic books.

I find the characters and setting compelling and the designers clearly have loads of great stories in their heads that we will never see fully through the card game.

Cheapass Games's Unexploded Cow has a stretch reward that will allow them to produce the game in the USA rather than overseas. (They might not get there; about ~3K shy with ~60 hours to go.)

After all the delays this last Kickstarter had thrust upon it, I think I'd kind of like to see that option.

Well, the last time a US manufacturer was used, we got the core set, with very thin, flimsy cards, and multiple problems (rulebooks missing, cards missing, cards sticking together, etc).

Sure, but nobody said they have to go to the same place.

I don't know how doable it would be...and it would probably have to be a pledge x extra dollars like unity was, but i'd love a way to get replacement cards for the Matriarch card that got misprinted (I don't remember which card off the top of my head, but the one that is super low quality with her on the mountain top surrounded by birds

I'm sure future printings of rook city will fix it...so i guess i can buy them as replacement cards then, but just combining it all with a kickstart purchase i already want to make would be nice.

Darken the skies. The problem is the card backs may not match exactly in colour tone.

Possibly custom dice. Or, custom card plasics.Special card sleeves customzied to each deck would be nice!

Of course additional decks would always be cool!

Blah, don't like dice.  I like the new counters.  They match my previous gem strategy, except they have numbers on them, meaning it's simple for others to follow along.

I like playing with dice and I went to a chessex dealer at PAXEast immediately after buying the game and bought about a dozen matching pairs of dice to use with the game. The Greater Than Games guys actually gave me hero and villain HP trackers that I've never used because the dice are so convenient. I haven't used the new token system so I won't judge it but everyone has different opinions on the matter. Friends of mine use a pen and paper for every target or they use pennies for trash targets and pen and paper for heroes and villains.

Of course I would like to see more content stuff as rewards, Alt hero and villain cards, new decks of every variety. Or even just cool stuff like deck boxes much like the ones that Spiff made, which I use and are always commented on as "the best idea ever".

One would guess that the Visionary would play lead in the Time & Space expansion (much like Legacy was lead in the core game, Wraith in Rook City, and...more of a communal Ra/Nightmist lead with Infernal Relics) thus potentially bringing a promo card for her.

As for what to hope for with new KickStarts, well...I'd like the oversized villain cards to keep happening. I had no idea that I would like them as much as I do, and I don't even have my game yet! Any extra decks and play materials are always excellent, and I enjoy seeing the art prints around the house.

I must say that the 'Get Your Face on a Card' thing is a great option, I find many of the cards that feature these people are easy to distinguish from the more comic-like extra characters, and in some cases it can be a bit jarring. GloomWeaver has some that really seem to fit, and I don't recall noticing anything with Rook City, so maybe it's just that there are simply more of them that I'm noticing.

Anyway, if it came down to no bonuses whatsoever, I would still have a smile just seeing more of the Multiverse fleshed out with physical cards.

That's my problem with it, mostly.  It's jarring to see the ones which are obviously supposed to be real people next to all the other comic book characters.
