To confirm, next months London Sentinels Day is Sunday the 18th at the International Students House near Great Portland Street station. Starting at 12 as usual.
If Adam and I were in London on the evening of the 8th, 9th, or 10th of April, would anyone want to hang out with us?
Everyone!
...
or at least me.
If it was the morning or afternoon of the 8th then sure. Evenings, not so much...
Meetup now open for the 18th.
Demiher0, I've assumed you're not a member of LoB so I've put you down as +1. You'll need to sign in when you get in, just find Paul Watson and sign in next to him. We'll probably be at the back of the bar with a huge black wheelie-case by the table.
Also link to the venue in case you need directions: https://www.google.com/maps/place/229+The+Venue/@51.5236805,-0.1443796,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x48761ad708a0ae07:0x672712bc8d7b4911!8m2!3d51.5236805!4d-0.1443796
I am amusingly and remembered to sign up yesterday. It is a remnant of my time living in London.
I shall keep the black carry case in mind whilst hunting for you all on the day.
Signed up :).
Just as a heads-up, looking out my window at the snow that's currently falling...I know the current weather isn't supposed to be as bad/last as long as the last lot, but just in case it gets bad and is so tomorrow, there's a chance I may not risk the trains in case they all get cancelled and stuff. Hopefully it'll be fine, though, and we can continue as planned :).
Was just going to check that the snow wasn’t messing up anyones plans. Hope to see you there.
Well, the trains look okay so far - no weather-related delays or anything. It does look like my train is gonna get into London via the other line, rather than the one it normally takes, but that's probably 'cause of engineering works or something. It just means it'll take me a bit longer to actually get to London. Hopefully the snow won't get much worse than it is and everything will be running fine :).
Trains look okay - looks like things will be going ahead as planned :).
It was lovely to meet you all yesterday by the way. Thanks for the entertaining Sunday and hopefully we can do it again soon. :)
A strage confluence of events has led me to being free at the weekends for the first time in almost never! It's completely out of synch with the regular meetups but I'll be a free agent between Sat 31st March and Fri 13th April. Other plans will no doubt rear up along the way but would be good to catch up after such a long abscence if there is anything scheduled during this time.
Ooh hey Mezike...didn't recognise you for a moment there, with your different avatar. Yeah, it'd be cool if we can fit in the next meet-up during your free time :).
Demihero, it was cool to meet you too :). If you should ever happen to acquire Tabletop Sim we can play Sentinels and/or Spirit Island there too, without your needing to specifically arrange to stop by at one of our London meets on the rare occasion you happen to be down this way :).
Ahh, yeah, can't remember why I changed it now. Should be better now!
Ahh yeah, there we go, the good old Voodoo-mask-skull-face-thing :D.
Paul,
There will be a London on Board on Tuesday the 10th, if you and/or Adam are interested in attending. Located at the Sir Christopher Hatton between Faringdon (Circle/Hammersmith/Metropolitan line) and Chancery Lane (Cenral line). You’ll need to be down as +1s to get in but I can sort that out. If interested, I can give better directions.
Which Sunday do people want to meet up this month? 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th available.
I don't mind, as usual ;).
Ok! It turns out that Adam and I are super booked while we're over on your island! However, we would love to hang out with you all at Eclecticon if you can make it out to Reading. Here's the info about it: http://www.eclecticgames.co.uk/eclecticon-iii-weekend-ticket.ir
