Cool, yeah, Spirit Island is a super-cool game. If I had access to my PC right now I'd suggest that we can play it on Tabletop Sim, but...well, yeah. Not for a while yet, sadly :P.
@pwatson1974
Awesome! That's right around the corner from Ye Olde Mitre, which is one of my favorite pubs in London! I'll plan to be there for the meetup and then wander over there after while :)
I'll try to join you. Do I need to sign up or anything?
As long as I know numbers before I can arrange it with the organisers. Being out of towners you can't be expected to join the meetup.
Meetup for next Sunday is now up for booking.
Just signed up! See you there :)
Yup. Forgot to sign up yesterday so just done it now :).
Paul/Andy,
Do you know if any more will be joining us on the Tuesday? Just as I need to know how many guests to get on the list.
There's a slim chance Mezike might want to join, but he could speak for himself. I'll give him a nudge to look at the forums ⦠I can't speak for any of the other GtG staff. There are six of them total, including Paul, but what the other five will do, I dunno.
I know that Paul and I were planning on joining you! I don't know if there are others, too.
Christopher and I will be there! There is a chance that Craig will too, but it is about 50/50.
If I said I was going to be there too, would it change the odds?
For info, likely games I'll be bringing:
Sentinels + Playtest stuff
Spirit Island + Playtest stuff
Compounded - Now with added Geiger expansion
Sagrada (4 player dice drafter)
Escape from Pompeii (4-player placement and race)
And it looks like we're into the 8-10 players range depedning on exactly who shows up.
Edit: It also appears that Keith Baker and Jean Ellis will be demoing their new game at the meet-up, Illimat, if anyone's interested in that information.
Message from London on Board re tonight:
Hi all,
Unfortunately due to a double booking at the Sir Christopher Hatton the cellar bar will not be available tonight, so we'll be in the raised area on the ground floor instead. Space will be limited, so please update your RSVP if you are no longer able to attend.
Regards,
Simon
I've checked and our RSVPs are still in place, but figured might as well alert people.
Sorry to have missed you all, but sick Nephews take (begrudging) priority.
On the plus side I didn't have to walk in the rain you brought over with you!
Now that Iām back from UKGE and awake, time to start organising the next London Sentinels Day, this one without special guests. Sunday the 24th ok with people?
Yeah, sounds okay. Sorry about the delay in replying - I've just got online today after a week without Internet in between switching from hotel to house and then getting the Internet set up here ;).
Yup 24th is great for me!
This month's Snetinels meetup is open for reservations.
Yup, signed up last night but didn't get round to mentioning it on here :).
