So, I think I understand this, but wanted to be sure. If I have out multiple copies of this card, he becomes immune to the type of damage he just took. The multiple copies just make it harder to get rid of his ongoing effect. Or does it mean he can become immune to more than one type of damage (1 per copy of Adaptive Plating Subroutine)?
Thanks in advance for the clarification!
I have to say, not only is the game awesome, but the creators are super nice! This is the not the first game company I’ve had direct contact with, and if more people were just as decent to their fans and customers as these guys are, the industry would be so much cooler. Thank you >G for restoring my faith in humanity! ;D
After omnitron is hit wih damage, you run through all the effects of the subroutine. If the attack was melee, the first card would make him immune. Then the second one would resolve and also make him immune to melee. It just means you’d have to destroy two cards before the effect goes away.
Okay, cool, thanks! I thought so, but a fellow player had sowed enough doubt in my mind to make me ask. Thank you for clarity!
You’re welcome. In most situations like that, just remember that each card’s effects are resolved separately based on the conditions of the game when each card is reached. Resolve the effects of the first copy, then evaluate the conditions of the next copy and act based on that. IE if two cards that target the hero with the highest HP (let’s use Legacy as an example here) are out, and the first one makes it so that a new hero has the highest HP (for example Legacy is lowered below Bunker’s current HP), the second card would target that Bunker instead of Legacy.
